Monroe Golf & Country Club
About
Monroe Golf & Country Club sprawls across gently rolling hills blanketed with mature hardwood forests. Opened in 1957, the course has a classic design that is playable for all skill levels but will still provide a challenge. The golf course is mostly flat but there are some subtly tricky elevation changes that can be found throughout. Pristine white sand bunkers contrast beautifully with the green of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and towering trees line the fairways. The greens are fast and the rough can be punishing. It's a layout that demands accuracy but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper. In addition to the golf course, Monroe also offers a large practice putting green and a driving range with a bunker.

Monroe CC
Superb greens, well maintained courses on all levels. Very challenging but fair to all levels. Love their new carts; simply an outstanding course.
Day of Golfing
Course is in great shape. The greens are rolling super, even early in the morning. Looking forward to playing there next week.
Thanks for the help
I frequently play at this course as of recently they’ve updated the carts they are super comfortable the only bad part is is that they’re connected to GPS and so you can’t drive in certain spots and it’s super annoying it cuts out under trees and definitely not an improvement in pace of play! The only way to get out of certain areas is to go in reverse and it’s ridiculous I understand people driving on the cart path as needed or certain courses but this is too much and actually unless your a average golfer will hit off course occasionally and it is not working correctly Either way it’s a beautiful chorus and I have a great time every time I play
Great condition. Played early and speed of play perfect.
"Well Done" Monroe Golf Club!!
I enjoyed this course very much. It wasn't difficult and it wasn't easy. It was a good mix for both a seasoned and an intermediate golfer. Now, the greens were recently aerated and sanded, so they didn't play like I imagine they would have under normal conditions. Other than that, the tee boxes, fairways, roughs, bunkers, etc. were in great playing condition. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience, We will definitely play this course again, and hopefully for the same rate we purchased through Golf Now, which was 50% off what the course normally charges. Ha! If not, it is still worth the price of admission paying the normal club rate.
New golf cart
The course was great but the carts were kind of strange
Crazy carts
The club has brand new carts which are on a hair trigger. If you but glance at the woods they immediately shut down. It even happened while driving on the cart path. So my advice is to stay in the fairway lol (as they can also shut down if you venture into to rough).
