Cherokee Run Golf Club

Love this course. Played while a ton of leaves are coming down. I wish the grounds crew would blow leaves off the green. other than that lay out and course is always a challenge.

This is my favorite course in the Atlanta area. The conditions are always excellent and it’s a challenging track.

Unfortunately, my last two rounds playing midweek have both pushed 5 hours. I played as a 3 and as a single, but both times pace of play was unacceptable. This is the only course I have ever called the clubhouse asking for help, and both times they agreed (they track the carts), but no once did anything change.

Sending messages to carts does not do the trick.

It will be tough to return here unless I know I can budget for a 5hr weekday round.

Really enjoy this course and love how fast and true the greens are!

Course is always in great shape. Instead of having a starter, how about having a Marshall that checks pace of play? We were 26 minutes behind pace when our round finished yesterday and waited in the group in front of us all day, they were also waiting on a twosome all day. Pace of play issue should have been addressed.

Cherokee Run is an amazing course! The zoysia fairways, flawless greens with white sand bunkers make this course one of the best in Atlanta! It is always a treat to play Cherokee Run and definitely worth the 45 minute drive from Sandy Springs!!

Course was in great shape except for bunkers which had standing water based on the rain the day before. The greens were perfect and fast even on a wet day. The majority of holes were 90 degrees and the starter and marshals were very friendly and provided world class service.
