The greens were in good shape, many of the tee boxes looked more like a sand bunker (slight exaggeration) the fairway was in decent shape. Work to be done, otherwise I would play it again in the future. In fairness to the course, we have not seen any appreciable rain for weeks.

First time to play this course on our trips down to Anna Maria. It was a nice round. Staff and starter were great. It looks like they are remodeling the clubhouse. Not much available as far as clothes, etc. Course was in good shape. A few dry spots in the fairway but for the most part they were good. Tee boxes were a little rough. One good thing, the red tees for my wife made it alot of fun for her. Thanks and the pace of play was great. Good value for the money.

This is an average course. Layout is pleasant. Lot of different holes with varying degree of difficulty. Course conditions are good, not great. Greens are good.

Pace of play was slow to very slow due to time of year, time of day, and fact that this is one of the more reasonably priced courses in the area.

Fairways and Tees Need TLC.

I had not played at Tatum Ridge for quite some time. The greens were in good shape but the tees and fairways were in rather poor.shaoe. I can honestly say that there are many holes both in the front and the back nine that have large bare spots with hard pan dirt lies not being uncommon. Many traps could use additional sand since they are hard packed and a bit thin on sand.. Large portions of the teeing grounds are completely bare sand or dirt. This issue with tee grounds being in poor conditions is not a new problem. I still like the course layout and the conditions of the greens but other courses in both Sarasota and nearby Manatee county are in better shape. Hopefully,, conditions will get better. The driving range grounds could also use TLC.
