The course is in good shape given the conditions we all face here with very little rain and the rates are very affordable in comparison to others in the area.

greens- well kept but a bit on the slow side. Heavy winds may have slowed the ball some.

Tees-----no grass

bunkers----unkept---lots of foot prints espically in fairway bunkers.

Fairways no grass

course may turn to mud when the summer rains hot and be unplayable.

no way to fairly play the ball down

Tee boxes had minimal to no grass. Fairways had very little grass. There were truck tracks and mud patches on a number of fairways. The price was cheap, but I won’t be back.

Layout of course and greens are excellent. Tee boxes and fairways need some attention. Lack of rain hasn't helped the course. The pice was good for the condition of the course. Staff was friendly and the pace of play was very good.

My friend and I golfed here on May 29, 2025 at 737 am. The course was a little wet from them irrigation. The greens were in great condition and they were working on the fairways. At 33 per person it was a great deal and we ended up finishing at 1045. I would recommend this course. The great thing for me is that this course is less than a mile from my house.

This is a great course, especially for the price. Our first time to play Tatum Ridge, but will definitely be back!

This course is a great value being the only course under $50 in the area. The greens were in great shape, however the fairways had some dry patches due to the lack of rain. I would recommend this course to Sarasota golfers on a budget.

My buddy and I were the first two out on Saturday morning at 7:07. We hit our tee shots on the par 3 (3rd hole), park our cart, and begin our chipping/putting routine. We were abruptly interrupted by a sprinkler head that absolutely SOAKED our cart. Clubs, phones, range finder, towels, speaker, etc. Everything was covered in water. With no time to wipe anything down (a 4-some behind us pulled up to the tee box), we made our way to the 4th hole. That’s when we notice a gentlemen standing next to the irrigation control panel and we ask him, “What happened? Our cart is absolutely soaked.” His response was “Oh it gets stuck sometimes.” No apology, no nothing. For the remainder of the front 9, all of our grips were soaked. After the front 9 we went into the clubhouse and mentioned what happened and were given the same response “Oh it gets stuck sometimes.” No apology or any attempt to make it right. I will not return to this course. Terrible customer service. No attempt to make it right. Not even an apology. 0 stars.

We checked in around 1:30 and was told to purchase all the liquid we would need for the day as they wouldn’t be open at the turn and also no water on the course. If this is the case, coolers should be allowed on course. We bought some ice for $2 but it melted fast. Greens and around green were cinnamon good shape but with no rain lately tee boxes and fairways were sparse with grass. We like the course layout but you should let people know no water available on course or just let us bring our own coolers.

Had a fun time playing this course. Was skeptical with all the recent reviews and super cheap price. (Ya get what ya pay for mentality) but I was pleasantly surprised. Bunch of people complaining about the tee boxes, which were fine IMO. As well as fairway complaints. Luckily for me, I don’t often find myself in the fairways. Rough wasn’t too bad though haha. Obviously been a dry spring so not everything is coming back in a quick.

Overall fun course with open layout so not so skilled golfers aren’t looking for balls in the wood line all day. Played early but even the few 4 somes ahead of me were moving at a good pace and still managed to finish about 3 1/2 hours. Would definitely play here again.
