Some dry areas but we are in a drought

Groundskeepers are doing a great job as well as the staff

150 yard stakes would be nice

Overall the course was un good shape. The greens were in great shape. Tee boxes were a little chewed up. Fairways had trouble spots with quite a bit underrepair. .However, not bad for the price.

Place looks great for just getting through season. Don’t listen to the folks that complain about tee boxes, fairways and whatever else. All courses need a few weeks/months to come back from the heavy non-stop play and sometimes they won’t be perfect for your golf round where you are looking to pay as little as possible and shoot a 95 anyway. Tatum continues to be the best valued course in Sarasota especially now. Join a club if you want pristine year round conditions.

That said - attention is being given - Tee boxes look to be growing in as well as spots throughout the fairway. Move your ball to a better patch of grass you bums. Bunkers are always not great but it’s $35 to play. Greens are soft and slow, adapt. The sun was out and a great breeze. Perfect for a cart walk and 18 holes after work

The greens were in great condition although a bit shaggy. The fairways and tee stations need work.

Overall it was a pleasant day with being paired with a pleasant couple of guys.

Course was fine but another one still wounded by Hurricane IAN. Greens were in great shape.

Club house needs some improvements and some food options are needed.

No water on the course and water ice only free if you by your own cup

I like this course because it is pretty wide open and for my ability it's pretty safe. Also, it's relatively close to home. I would like to see then take better care of it. While the greens are in decent shape, most of the tee boxes are awful, very little grass, lots of sand / dirt. The same goes for many of the fairways on the back nine. I know that we've had a drought here over the past year or so but there are several big lakes on property for irrigation. The irrigation system has lots of leaks and apparently is not aimed at the areas in need of water. I hope they can get that rectified soon.

Fairways, Tees and greens are all terrible. Course is totally neglected. I wouldn’t play this course ever again

We are from Germany and were very positiv surprised to play 18 holes icluding car for 30 $. In Germany this is impossible.The course isn't very difficult but in good condition. We enjoyed the flight and will come back,when we are here for holidays. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The costs for rent the equipment was ok with 35 $, my husband changed the driver, as the first one doesn't fit for him.

Nice folks and it is a great layout. I will go back.

We had to play the back 9 twice. Played the first time around in 100 minutes and the 3 fat old men behind us acted like we were playing slow. They were part of the “men’s league” who stood on the tee box behind us with their fat arms out and the hands in their hips. The course wasn’t in good shape and it wasn’t worth the $80 for 2 of us to play.

I've been to Tatum alot this year and have a great time everytime. But this visit not so good. First they never informed GolfNow members that the front nine was closed and we were playing the back nine twice. The guy in the poor shop was not apologetic at all and offered nothing as compensation. A couple of soft drinks or a beer would have been nice. really apathetic customer service which is not usual for Tatum. They did manage to get us off on time and make the turn easily which I appreciated. The sad part was that the fairways and tee boxes are getting really bad. Thankfully, the greens continue to be pretty darn good for a public course. I feel bad because i think the entire staff and management has put alot of effort into the place. Just wish they could keep it as nice as in the season,

Course was in bad shape with the exception of the greens. Everything else was poor

Had a 11:53 tee time but showed up about an hour early in case we were able to get out early. Met in the parking lot by an attendant who loaded our clubs and we headed to the clubhouse. Upon entering we were ask our name and were told we could tee off when we were ready. Course overall was dry (due to a spring drought but there were some quite wet areas from watering. We had no one in front of us until the 8th hole and the back 9 was a tad slower but still finished in 3 hours.

Played 18 in 2.5 hours. Greens look like they are ready for some plugs but still rolling good and not in bad shape. Fairways are really in need of water. 15 is a sandlot. Still like this place for a good round with no frills.
