Cypress Ridge Golf Course
About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

A lot of bunkers around greens.
My first time playing cypress course, and it ended up raining, so course was extremely wet, so green very extremely slow. I’m just an average golfer but had a great experience and will definitely play again.
Great course
All the lakes were empty or had stagnant water. Low water levels. Course was in good shape overall.
John B’s
Course condition was really good. Pace of play not so good. Guy came out to speed things along but not effective.
Tournament in front of us playing scramble. Would not let us play through. Sometimes 5 on the tee and sometimes 6. One of their groups let us play through. Next group not so accommodating. One lady kept hitting her ball into the weeds and seemed to enjoy looking for it. Very slow round.
Always enjoy going there because of course condition and the weather.
Above average course
Worth paying the $90 ish greens fee. Really well kept greens, only complaint is some tee boxes were kind of lumpy or really uneven.
Wet
Very wet very very slow play. Poor course conditions
The course was challenging.
Great Course in good shape. Only complaint was the sand traps on both fairways and green sides need fresh sand .
Great condition
The course was in great condition!! The staff is always friendly. The course was packed , so naturally the pace of play was slower than normal. A must play golf course on the central coast!!
Cypress Ridge
The course was in good condition and played nice. The greens rolled good, although a lot of unfixed divots on the greens, which is not the fault of the course. The pace of play could be quicker.. Two groups played in front of us and had a couple open holes in front of them. It was a Friday so it was expected to play a little slower. Clubhouse staff was extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Cypress 1st time
Located in the countryside of Arroyo Grande. Friendly Staff, green fairways, hilling, tucked in between houses and Cyoress Trees. Challenging course a little slower pay but worth the money.
Nice course. Had a good time.
Our first time here. Weather was nice. Pro shop staff was friendly, courteous. Nice course layout, in very good condition. The foursome in front of us was slow but other than that we had a great time. Would play here again in our next visit to SLO. Thank you Cypress Ridge.
Best in the area
I’m a local and find this course to be my absolute favorite. Friendly staff, affordable rates, and excellent course conditions from tee to green.
Great course! Perfect weather
Always love this course. Layed out good. Always in top shape. Recent rains have left some small areas wet or muddy, can’t blame them! But I’m sure it will dry out. Thumbs up!
Gem on the Central Coast
Reasonable price, great location, well-manicured, and consumer friendly staff.
