Value for money
Course has a good layout, not long but with plenty trouble with water and bunkers. Very good fast greens. Enjoyed a nice day out
Fun course to play
All in all, a fun course to play. Some difficult holes, some easy. Some wide fairways, some tight driving holes. Greens were in fantastic condition.
Good bang for the buck
The greens and T boxes at the Habitat are in good shape. The greens run a little quick which for me is a good thing. The bunkers need work as many have very little sand and are very firm. I'm not sure how often they are able to service them but the last two times I played they were not much fun. I really like the layout, some fun holes and a nice change from a lot of Florida courses in that you aren't playing in a housing development.
Best greens in the area but some tee boxes could use some leveling off. Also best tee box area on the driving range for the area.
Great Value in Melbourne
Loosing a few balls is well worth the day out with these spectacular greens.
sucks
no carts waited for 20 mins till cart came off 18th NO RANGERS some holes 4 -5 groups on it spoke with Mgr no help couldn't care less
Strait hitters course
Habitat is a wilderness type course with almost no development in view. Lots of wildlife are to be seen. However this also means there is not much room for error from the tee of on long second shots. The fairways are reasonably generous but the bush eats many balls. Water is in play on every hole also. Add the usual Florida wind and you better bring a couple of sleeves of your favorite ball.
Very nice course
Enjoy playing this course. Pace of play was unusually slow, primarily due to one group that had a hacker (no problem there) and the others in his group did nothing to move him along (I.e., pick up the ball and come drop by us). Never saw a marshall on the course. Still, I would definitely play here again.
VFM
Very good deal via Golf Now, course good lay out with really quick greens .
Members we met were very friendly, not always the case in the US.
Course was in poor condition,
Very disappointed with course condition. Fairways had little to no grass on them every fairway lie was tight. The tee boxes were bare in many spots and not on a level plane. The pace of play was horrible and never once didwe see a ranger on the course to monitor the pace of play. Greens were receptive but full of pitch marks need to be rolled. It appears the management does not want to invest any money into the course maintenance.
In the wilderness
Neat layout as you hardly see the hole next to you.
my first round since the County gave it up
I was an unknown 4th to a booked threesome, and the starter took care to drive me to the range to meet them, as well as let me know we were on deck.
Golf shop and snack bar very professional, and overall course was considerably improved from when the County operated the course. Greens were a comfortable pace, and consistent albeit the last several greens about 4:00 PM had grown just enough to be noticeably slower. We finished in four hours flat so all in all a very enjoyable day of Golf
Great course, great shape, Friendly Staff
Great course no need to search/ travel all over I have enjoyed every round I have played there
The Habitat At Valkaria
11:56 tee time w/wife thru GN.com using Gift card from ER crew. Another course run by Integrity Golf. Fun & challenging layout. Last 2 holes are tough. No houses on course. This course reminds me so much of Diamondback Golf Club in Haines City that closed down. Double wide trailer for Pro shop & eatery. Staff nice & congenial. Tee boxes & fairways fairly plush & in decent condition but not pristine. Huge elevated greens rolling pretty true & w/ decent speed (same speed as with most Integrity managed courses before they go bad). Was a miserable rainy day as well as a cold front coming in but made the best of it. Golf carts in good shape w/ windshield & rain cover in back. Was worth the 1.5 hour drive. Will play it again sometime in future.

Have been playing there for years the course is a nice challenge for the average golfer you will see lots of wildlife anything from alligators two bald eagles to deer on the course it is in excellent condition right now not a lot of houses surrounding the course you get used to the airplanes flying over the holes and they don't tend to bother you.
Pricing is getting bad for a public "City" course
While this course is very challenging and in better than average condition the price is getting out of hand. There has been nothing major done to the course in many years but yet there certainly has been a rate increase. At 46 dollars a round you might as well got to a semi private course that offers better perks to playing there. There is absolutely no reason that this course should be more than 30 dollars any day of the year. During the summer months when the grass is all but dead and it is exceptionally hot the price comes down some but not nearly enough for that either! Hope this helps
Good course
Great setting for a course. Lots of nature and no houses. Lots of wildlife. Overall... the course was in very good condition and the pace was reasonable. The biggest complaint I have is that it sits right next to a small airport with lots of flight activity. The noise if very distracting and ruins the aesthetic aspect of the course.
Course is in great shape. The greens were fantastic, and the traps were good, if you where unfortunate to be in one!
