Bull at Pinehurst Farms

I played a twilight rate. The course was immaculate and the property enormous, making it feel like we had the place to ourselves. Everything was perfectly maintained. However, the teenage staff at the starter didn’t assist with the bag drop or bringing carts around. As predicted, they expected a tip at the end for polishing already clean clubs.

I try to play The Bull at least once a year. It's a very challenging course cut through the Kettle Moraine Forest and hills. Being located just down the street from the Kohler courses, it has a lot of their characteristics. Bring a handful of extra balls because the terrain has quite a bit of unforgiving rough. If you can stay close to the fairways it's a very manageable course.

Played "The Bull" for the first time in over a year and was very impressed. The new owners have done a great job with bunkers, greens and fairways. Unfortunately, this all comes with a price. The "top 25 Wisconsin courses" list greens fees from $69-$89. I have rarely seen this for less than $100, and mainly in the $129-$149 range. With the Kohler courses just down the road, I am sure they feel it is a bargain.

Played the Bull a day after two days of torrential rain had hammered the area. Yet course conditions at the Bull were perfect. By my tee time of 3:20 every bunker on the course was raked, dry and sand fluffy. Amazing kudos to the groundskeeper. Great layout with shot placement crucial. Loved it!

Greens are the best I've played on in a while. Fast and smooth even with all the water they received in the last week.

the course was very wet that day because they had just received 1 inch of rain in morning and our tee time was at 9:50. the delay was only 30 minutes. they were very good in getting everyone out. play was cart path only, witch did slow down play

Played The Bull for a second time this year - had a 89.00 rate on golf now and couldnt pass up with perfect 75 temps and fall colors. This is one of my favorite courses anywhere - so many different feels as you work through the areas of this track.

Its funny - the more people you talk to, this is the 'warm up' course folks coming into town play before the Straits and Blackwolf - but it turns out to be harder than both from what most say. Very challenging - forced lay ups and bunkers galore.

Cant wait to go beat up on my local muni after playing the Bull!

Played last Sunday. Perfect weather, course in good shape.

Staff was outstanding…… course is nice and a typical Nicklaus layout. Lots of layups and forced carries. I’m 61, and not a long hitter, playing from the white tees gave me a chance to score. With the forced carries etc, many older players may have great difficulty playing here. Hard to know where a good tee shot would be on some holes.

All this being said, good experience, but for $125, I would much rather play other courses in the Green Bay/Milwaukee area, that are half as expensive or less, and just as nice, and a lot more playable to the 18 handicap player.

The Bull at Pinehurst Farms is a fantastic course. Most people would travel to Sheboygan for Straits or Black Wolf Run, but this is a great course in the area for a FRACTION of the price. The layout is difficult as everyone will tell you, but there are only a couple holes that really feel like you have to hit every shot perfectly. That being said, every hole (aside from a couple) is either a dogleg, has water, or has a ravine to clear. Use good course management and you can come away with a good score. Course was in pristine shape when I went. My only gripe is I'd like to see GPS in the carts since it would really help with knowing how far to carry hazards. I'll be back for sure though! You won't regret playing this course!

This course was in immaculate conditions as well as being scenic and challenging. Friendly staff and beverage cart came around frequently.

If you are looking for a challenging course that has great views at a great value, I highly recommend playing here.

This course is better maintained than many country clubs I have played.
