White Heron Golf Club (formerly known as Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club) has had many accolades over its history and for good reason. The Ted McAnlis layout is sculptured from lush rolling land and features immaculate playing conditions year round. Water and natural wetlands come into play on 16 of our 18 holes and the resident breeze can significantly change the course from day to day. Yet despite the natural beauty and obvious pedigree of the layout, with four sets of tees the course is still enjoyable for golfers of all levels.

Below average

Tee boxes were good. Fairways were dried out can't help that with no rain. Greens were dry and fast. To many past cup spots to putt through. Lots of clover and weeds on the greens. Grouped up with a local couple Sam and Doreen was a pleasure to golf with them. Being from east coast Canada they welcomed me.

Very tight course. When you drive into the parking lot the bring a golf cart to you !! Some of the greens were under repair . You need to hit the ball straight . A very challenging course.

Not worth the money

Had high hopes for this course based on the recent comments but was very disappointed. In my opinion this course should be $50 to play. Poor greens, poor areas around the greens, poor fairways and poor tee boxes. Generally don’t write many reviews but don’t let previous comments fool you.

Tough layout

First time playing this course. Here’s my impressions. Staff were friendly, carts were new with GPS. Don’t like the fact you have to pay for range balls it every course if different. Range was a bit scruffy. The course has a lot of water and it comes into play a lot. If you are not ok with tight landing spots this may not be for you. The price was what I would consider lower end for most of the courses in Orlando area at $69, so at that price we thought it was fair. The greens were a bit inconsistent but overall the greens and fairways were ok for the price. The biggest turn off for our group was the layout.
