White Heron Golf Club

The first time we played here this year The course is always in great shape and no exceptions this time. Staff has always been top notch and bringing you a cart as you park is always a big plus! Front nine was smooth sailing but as we got to 10 had a pile up of 3 groups on the tee and back nine took 2 &1/2+ hrs to play.

I found the cost to be high considering conditions’ Fairways were not yet grown in. Tees were spotty. Greens were grown in and smooth. Rough was ratty. Pace of play was slow. It took 4 hrs 45 minutes, and we were a twosome. The cart handled poorly, there was a grinding cracking noise in the steering column. No food available in bar.

We were welcomed to the White Heron by friendly staff. The young lady who brought our cart, the super friendly helpful check in staff and the course starter all did a great job.

Played in the past and always liked the layout but conditions were awful. Was hugely improved last year and is awesome this year. Don’t hit it too far off the tee: water lurks everywhere

Enjoyable round played. Pace of play was good. Course conditions were ok for this time of year. Greens rolled well. My only complaint was that the pro or person behind the desk wasn't around and when he did come around to wait on me, it seemed as if I was bothering him or interrupting him from something. Not to friends ly. Other then that I would play there again.

I played 6 courses in this prices range during a recent trip to Orlando area and this was my favorite. Why? The layout from each tee box offered challenges without being unduly difficult. Bring a golf app if you have it to spot the few challenging narrow landing areas or water in front of the green.
