White Heron Golf Club

Great place to play course is in great shape. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great GM and cart girl. Would recommend to anyone. Pace of play less than 4 hours. Greens rolling well!!!!

White Heron is a great golf course. If you are a beginner you may want to move up tees given that there is a lot of water. It is a great value per round. Pace of play, especially on week days, is very good. The course is both fun and challenging at times.

Tremendous layout. Has the potential to be the best track in central Florida. Currently in very good shape and can’t be beat for the money. Pace of play was fantastic and surroundings were very pretty

The staff was top notch. Glenn in the clubhouse was extremely nice and very helpful. Would recommend playing this course for certain

There is no better value for you money in the Orlando area to play golf. Course is difficult but fair, club house is stocked with everything you need, employees are extremely friendly. Whenever I show up, I can count on a clean cart to meet in the parking lot, a quick and easy check-in and friendly staters (Harold or Dave) to find the best pairings . You won't find a better course. Something is wrong with you if you don't enjoy a round at White Heron golf course!

We always White Heron when we have been on holiday and first played it when it was still called Ridgewood Lakes. The course has not changed over the years, apart from the 18th, which is now a shortish par4 from a par5. I love how it winds its way through the development of Ridgwood Lakes. Although not difficult from the forward tees, the course itself has its own challenges with some long par 5's and very tight par 4's.

We love this course and will play it again should we return to Florida.

Played several courses while I was in Orlando. This was my favorite even played one of the high dollar Disney courses.

Just tried to book a tee time and was told “we are not welcome back because we wrote a bad review”

They said they tried to call us about the review (never got a call).

The review was written months ago and we have played there since. But NOW they want to tell us we aren’t welcome because we shared our opinion with the golf community instead of “coming to him”.

We have been golfing here regularly for the past year. We had some bad experiences and after one really bad day. Bad pace of play, bad greens, ect. We decided to write a review hoping it would get up to higher management and they would finally correct it.

I see a lot of reviews on here agreeing with my option on how this course is. So obviously not just me.

Honestly yall have a lot of bad reviews and it hasn’t really changed so I don’t know what coming to you personally would have done. We don’t want a free game, or an I’m sorry. We want you to do better.

Waited to play from the 5th by a 4 ball playing off the long tees couldn't hit the ball. We actually caught them up on the tee on more than one occasion never looked like letting us through we were a 2 ball.

This course is in terrible shape. The obvious use of green paint or a green composition to make it look better was obvious on every whole. Greens were inconsistent from a number of aspects. Fairways were poor with the tee boxes being the only reasonable thing all day. We were appalled at what they were charging for a course in such bad shape. The pace of play was fine primarily because very few were playing the course. We played it two months ago and the difference in the shape of the course was like night and day.

I played midweek quite late in the day 14:00 after 6 holes I caught up with another lone golfer who was being held up by a four ball who insisted on playing from the tiger tees but could not hit a ball. As a result we were held up on every hole even catching them up on a number of tees after we had completed a hole but they had failed to progress down the fairway. We were standing aside the 10 tee when they were driving off but they failed to invite us to go through (Ignorant) my new playing partner and iI decided to play the front nine for a second time and flew around with no one else in sight. An enjoyable nine holes but deprived of playing the back nine by selfish individuals should have been a marshel on the course to make them keep pace with golfers in front of them.

This course is in desperate need of maintenance and tlc. . We played it two months ago and it was great. Today, it was in terrible shape and we felt not even close to money for value for what they are charging for a round. They literally used paint or some other form of chemical composition to make the greens look acceptable. The fairways were patchy, and in rough shape. The greens were inconsistent and more importantly were patched in places that made it difficult to putt the line and break. I understand it’s winter and grass is dormant but the prices are raised at this time of year and this course does not even come close to giving you am satisfying experience for what they are charging. Our first clue should have been the fact we had to replace our cart because of obvious damage when they brought it to us. It was a very disappointing experience.
