Tanglewood Golf and Country Club

First off it’s dangerous. The driving range is sandwiched between two holes. As well as driving range balls being hit directly at golfers on the two outlining holes of the driving range. Greens horrible. Fairways non existent. Zero golf etiquette by fellow golfers . Zero imagination with the layout. Even if in perfect condition still not worth it. Don’t waste your money.

Played the course for the first time and we had a good time. Course conditions were good for this time of the year. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely play this course again.

Kodos to the staff. All were extremely pleasant and went our of their way to ensure we had a great time. This was a bucket lost of mine to play the course that Boo and Bubba grew up playing. I wasn't disjointed. It's tight with many sharp dog legs and small undulating greens. You could see why boo is straight and Bubba bombs the corners. The course was in ok condition for the cost, but was told it Will be better this spring. I would definitely play it again if ender in area.

I hate to write this because the staff & owners were so nice. I know that we had a cold winter this year. & maybe the course will get better in the summer but right now it is bad. The greens are shaggy & the fairways are rock hard. I know its nice for me to hit a 280 yard drive, But I’m 70 years old & I know this is ridiculous. I gps ed the yardage so I’m not exaggerating. But then you have to hit your iron shot off of very little grass & all of it is hard pan. Many times there was no grass at all, just hard sand. 4 times I missed greens to the side & never found my ball. They bounced so far that they must have gone into the the brush way behind the greens. I’m sorry but I won’t be back.

Played on a Sunday. Busy but finished in less than 4 hours. Course layout is great but the fairways were pretty sparse. Greens need a little work as well. Fun to play and shots rolled forever (i putted to the fringe from the 100 yard mark on one hole)

Nicci the cart girl was great. Could use a starter on weekends.

Plenty of length, nice soft puttable greens, lots of bunkers

The staff were very friendly and welcoming to this single golfer. I teed off on time and the foursome ahead of me several times asked if I'd like to play through, but I was enjoying taking my time and the pace was fine, so I declined. Several holes on the back nine were narrower, and so a bit more difficult for a golfer like me. The traps were in very good condition. I think I would really enjoy playing this course when it has greened up.
