Tanglewood
Great value as usual. Friendly staff, no cart service available and course was not as lush as usual. Still one of my favorite courses to play
Heading into winter
As with all area courses, the Bermuda is approaching dormancy, so all shots from the fairway are "tight lies". Tanglewood continues to be good value for the money.
Pace of playoffs
Pace of play was awful. Played 3 holes in over an hour. Group of 7, 4 and 3 playing extremely slow.

The tee shot is critical at this course. It was a very enjoyable round. I will play this course again. Getting up and down is not as hard as some. Most of the greens are unprotected by bunkers or other traps. Overall a very good place to play ▶️
I don’t know where to starr
I checked in and was told “irons only off the tee today we’ve got them pushed way up! No idea what that was about tees were certainly not “pushed up” I was allowed to go out before my time and was great full, headed to the first tee (the first try) and was told hey you got wait for our mens group ok no problem let them pass, walk to the tee again and a guy with a pull cart walks out into the fairway drops a ball and proceeds to play. The 3rd or 4th attempt I get my ball tees up and the starter says “hey you’re supposed to start on #3!” I’m really aggravated by now, off I go to three, by the 5th I caught a 3 some and had to follow thier slow play through the next 13 holes, no marshal around nothing. I realize there was a storm come through and from a maintenance standpoint it was great. Don’t think I would go back.

The course was in great shape the employees were very cordial I would recommend it again

No putting green or chipping practice green. fairways were not so much grass as patches. course needs an overhaul and some tlc
Greens under reconstruction.
At least three green are unusable as they prepare for reseeding. That in itself is ok, but no one bothers to tell you that up front. It is not noted by GolfNow when booking a tee time, nor is it mentioned by any staff member when checking in.
Tanglewood’s in great shape!
Yes, Two holes are temporary and it didn’t stop a great round. The folks are great and I joined another single to balance the pace with the threesome group in front. It was staggering hot, but the free cold ice tea helped.
