Sad
Would never return.. Curt and indifferent cashier
Started blew us off cause we wanted to check in 35 min early. Carts should be scrapped. And they are in short supply. Course is tired from so much play. No sand on the carts to fix divots. 4.5 hr round. No Marshall's.
A work in progress
I reserved a tee time for a 3 some and enjoyed every moment. I'm sure these things your aware of and working on.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of work going on throughout the course. [although, this did not interfere much with our play. Also noticed most of the tee boxes were still being worked on and markers were misplaced, along with stakes and ropes tossed in bushes. Not deal breakers but need attention.
Forgiving
Oaks is a golf friendly course that is good for beginner to intermediate golfers. Greens are in good shape but the course is littered with ant hills. Watch your step. Fairways are open and their is water to watch out for on several holes. Good value but not for those who expect a meticulously maintained Cousy/
Amazing staff
Everyone was so nice, it was a bit chilly and one of the rangers gave me a jacket to use! I thought that was very very kind! The course was well kept and I played the best round of golf here! Definitely coming back!
Palm Aire Oaks
Overall, a good experience at the Oaks course. Pace of play was steady, finished in four hours and fifteen minutes. The greens are ok some better than others but decent, fairways/tee boxes are fine.
Overall a nice Sunday afternoon of golf.
Decent Value
Like most courses right now it is a little rugged due to springtime. Fairways and greens were okay. Roughs were reasonably clean. For the price and the weather it was a good value.
Not a good experience
This was the 4th course I played during the week I was there for vacation. Orangebrooke, Jacaranda, and Woodmont before this. I paid for me and two friends to play 18 holes. After a 3 hour 9 hole front, we had to bypass 2 groups and decide to cancel our back 9. At one point the groupings were backed up 16 carts on a par 3 tee box. I am not one to not see things from a business perspective, being a business owner myself. But we were unable to be refunded for our back 9. The starter explained to me that "everywhere I go will be like this", which was clearly not true as I had played 3 other rounds that week. And that the rate was "fair".
I played Woodmont for less money than here and received 5 star treatment. I wouldn't go back here and play for $15. Sure back ups happen, but please try and make it right to your guests. I couldn't wait 6+ hours to get through a round.
Nice course good conditions
Good course with some challenging holes. Fairways are in decent shape and the greens were probably the nicest in the area at this time. Pace of play was good and price was decent.
In good shape nice layout
I will go back price before 1h a bit to expensif.Green on cypress are in better condition.
Nice Course!!
Good experience all around... we played on Washington's Bday so the pace was a little slow but the greens and fairways were in in great shape.
Driving range into the water accomodated all clubs with ease..
Puttng and chipping areas were great.
3rd time playing the Oaks course. Will definitely paly again!
