Don't find yourself in here, on a par 3 on the back 9! Photo submitted by stratsville on 04/13/2013
Decent course
Tee boxes were mostly decent. One teebox had multiple levels of elevation to it.
Fairways were nice. Bunkers were well taken care off.
Greens were atrocious. So patchy. So many unfixed divots.
Would play again.
Great course but bad timing
Great staff and course but they had the groundskeepers working on the course midday. If I didn’t have a chainsaw right next to me (which blocked a tee box), it was the 2-3 lawnmowers around me. Very unprofessional to do it during the day and not take care of things first thing in the morning.
OK layout, terrible greens
I didn’t expect much after reading the reviews of this course. But it’s located right outside my father-in-law’s balcony, so I had to try it out. The layout is a typical Florida condominium course - lots of little water hazards, thick-bladed Bermuda grass everywhere, tiny elevated greens, holes weaving around buildings and homes. I could have overlooked the overall scruffiness of the course, as I wasn't expecting much better for the price. But the greens were terrible! Huge bald patches (covered with green-painted sand) were on every green - sometimes 10 on one green! If you were lucky enough to have a path of grass between your ball and the hole, the greens rolled slow and bumpy. But you needed a 4-wheel drive golf ball to navigate the rest of the greens. It was bad enough that I basically stopped putting - just slapping it towards the hole on the off chance it’ll go in. The greens ruined what would have been an adequate course. So if you play here, either just take 10’ gimmies or enjoy five-putting every green.
Bad greens
The overall cost and play was fine except the putting greens were in terrible terrible condition otherwise the course was well manicured
Greens recovering
The greens are in poor shape, apparently they had a fungus or something and currently the greens are terrible. Not worth the money right now. Would have been nice if they would have noted the issue. Could have played much nicer greens for less money.
Nice round
Overall the course was in decent shape. The greens were not great. The staff was very friendly. Welcoming. I will be back!
Not worth the rate
Tee boxes and greens need major work; the fairways are okay. The pace of play was exception, less than 4 hours on a Saturday morning is unheard of in South Florida, perhaps this was due to the condition of the course and lack of golfers. It seems ClubLink has given up on this course which was a top course in Broward County before they took it over.
Shadow of its old self
Won’t let me load photo of the greens.
Staff is awful.
Greens are worse.
Should get charged with robbery for taking peoples money to play there.
STAY AWAY
DOG TRACK
Greens need work
I really like the Oaks course from a layout perspective, but the greens need some immediate help. There were ZERO strokes gained on the putting surface today. Kind of like playing on a lunar landscape.
