Don't find yourself in here, on a par 3 on the back 9! Photo submitted by stratsville on 04/13/2013
Simple layout with little difficulty to have any problems.
The tee boxes were fair condition at best and the greens were the worst I have ever played. We had a threesome and they put a single player with us which was just find. Our tee time was at 11:30 and by the second hole, they turned on the sprinklers onto several greens. This is a Saturday and the course had many customers trying to play the course. We were unable to putt do to water on the greens. I have never had a worst experience playing golf in 40 years, and all 4 of us said we would never play this course again.
Greens in very poor condition
Tee boxes, fairway, rough al decent to good condition. Greens were terrible, covered in bare spots. Negatively affected putting.
Nice facility and very good staff.
Under construction
Looks like they’re preparing to rebuild the greens. They’re in poor shape and painted with terrain marks.
Greens are horrible
Really surprised at the condition of the greens, bare spots everywhere. They were slow, bumpy, just awful. Tee boxes aren’t much better.
Also watch out for the red ants.
Greens are pathetic
Course layout is nice. fairways are in good shape. Rough is in good shape. Tee boxes are MEH at best.
The issue is the greens. They have dead spots and patches everywhere......like everywhere!!!
No way for any putt to have a straight line without going over these brown / bumpy patches.
Haven't been to the course in about a year and I see why.
Another ClubLink course that they are keeping open only to sell to a building developer (see Woodlands & HeronBay)

Not the best condition.
The course, although a good layout, is not in very good condition, with poor greens.... Not worth the value of money paid unfortunately.
If the greens were in food shape, I would happily play there again
Rough greens
Course was in good shape but tee boxes and greens need a lot of work. Greens had a lot of dead / diseased grass on them. It’s probably from all the rain. Other than that it was a great round
DECLINING VALUE
CAUTION...on booking this course. Over the past 3 years I have played this course 20-25 times a year,,,and this late October and e-weekend of November, I am amazed in the decline of the course and current shape of the course (TERRIBLE)...it used to be in great shape...and last year they started cutting corners on care and maintenance of the course...and it shows now! Tees boxes are pretty tattered, like your standing on a rough backyard playground, then the fairways...yikes...a mess from opening too too early after rain and they have ruined several fairways this year...today was cart path only and frankly they should not have sent us out...there was over half the course holes had 12 inches or deeper of standing water (AND THEY DIDN"T SAY ANYTHING AT TIME OF BOOKING)...the check-in was easy...season hasn't started,,,but the pro-shop staff are challenged at fundamental meet and greet, they act more like toll booth operators with headphones on collecting coins, for the non-US based company that owns them. NOTE the outside services (starters and cart staff) bring the value meter up, they are a great group of guys that hustle to make sure you're ready and all is ok! So, we played 4 holes in nearly 2 hours AAAHH....YIKES and I went back for a raincheck on the round...and apparently they DON'T GIVE RAINCHECK...even though they will FALSE advertise conditions of course...so you start your round and therefore no raincheck. Hmm? I would consider I'm a regular, I tip the guys and gals fairly...but this cheap operation and management shows. I'm so bummed about this,,,the course is so close to the jet center and surrounding communities but has 2 STAR RATING & EXPERIENCE, and the 2 instead of 1 star POOR rating is only because some of the outside golf staff are doing the best they can with out of country/foreign management. SKIP THIS COURSE
ever since Clublink bought the courses, they have gone down in quality and playability! its too bad because like you said the peole who work there are genuinely courteous and hard working!
Clublink also sold off the Woodlands 2 courses, heron bay and basically as you say just want your money!
they wanted me to renew my membership for the same price with no concessions for less courses, time lost to clousures due to covid ,etc
Gotta wonder who runs this company as they really are bad at it
amen Just checked to see if they posted my review. see below. What a joke @$42.00.
