Don't find yourself in here, on a par 3 on the back 9! Photo submitted by stratsville on 04/13/2013
Straight forward course
Very well maintained course , besides one of 2 tee boxes the course was very well maintained .
Straight forward course .. Would play again
A Friendly Course
Open fairways moderately bunkered. firm well bunkered greens, Very playable and enjoyable for the high handicapped player. Carts are in good condition and paths well marked.
Palm-aire - Oaks course
Played sunday morning in a 3some. Pace of play was fantastic (less than 3 and a half hours), greens rolled true around 8 on the stimp. Bunkers were excellent, fairways and rough average and tee below average. Staff was great, range is ok, pratice putting is good. Great value if you can get a hot deal.
Course was in good condition, and sets up for.nice play.
Just.visiting the area, and this is one of three courses that we played. As far as course, it was in good condition. I would say that out of the three that we played this was the best. The only down side to this course was the staff (or should I say the outdoor staff). From the time that I dropped off our clubs to the time that we finished play there was not a friendly smile or kind word spoken. The starter did not tell us nothing about the course, and did not say hi or bye.
I would play this course again, nice course good value.
Dependably well maintained
Played on a day following a heavy downpour the night before. Overall, the course drained well and midway through the round the fairways were dry enough for carts.
We always enjoy playing the Oaks course. It is fairly open and fair (and always fun) for all levels of golfers.
I play this course with my husband who is a single digit handicapper with me in the upper teens. We did find the greens a bit slow this past Sunday when we played, the first time this year. (We remembered them being a bit faster last Spring.) As New Englanders we like courses with smaller greens like those on the Oaks and Cypress at Palm Aire. I think that GolfNow presents a good value for the Palm Aire courses. Staff is friendly, practice green is sizeable.
Nice greens fun layout
I really like going to Palm Aire Oaks. Nice layout with a lot if challenging holes. It's usually in really nice condition, especially the greens. Played on Friday morning dispite many Canadian tourists still finished in just under 4 hours. I would recommend this place if you want a nice public course at a low price. Probably the best deal in the area.
Nice course
Very nice course and a good value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting course,enjoyed it
Only complaint would be water, very hot day, think there was something wrong with water machine but no water on course, cart girl was there frequently so water was available to purchase but it was so hot you would have had to spend $50. to stay hydrated
Great course, maintained, fun, good fun the average to above average player.
Fun course, not overly challenging but the back nine on the oak course will test the nerves. Might need a yellow ball on 18 as it lines the range.
A very good overall golf experience.
Facility was satisfactory, well-stocked pro shop, beer on tap ice-cold, cheap and good, locker room okay but bring your own towel and toiletries, staff were all very courteous and helpful, ample parking. Course was enjoyable except for slow play on weekend that was unmonitored, quite a few holes were challenging from back tees, greens are small and deceptive, appearing flat but with strong grain action. Bring your own water if you don't want to pay for bottled from the well-stocked cart concession. Practice facility was complete for all aspects of game, including watching your ball hit the water, which is also abundant on the course. Scorecards outdated and lack charm. Carts were peppy, road-grade cart paths
This course is a great value!
Very happy with the course and staff. Early mornings is a breeze to play with a great layout.
Always good and improving.
I play at Palm Aire more often than any other course. Staff great. Course always in good shape. Rough is thick. Stay in the fairways. Greens are fast but could be faster for me. Great Value.
Good conditions over all
Course is in better condition since Palm Aire joined the Club link family. Better fairways and much better greens, if you haven't been out lately, I would recommend either course Mighty Oaks/Cypress.
Good maintained course!
Slow play that day, noisy players aroud us. But it's only a game! Enjoy it!
staff friendly
online booking worked like a charm, Starter got me right out, played at 7:15am
played at this course twice, had to go back 2 holes kicked my butt, got even
Greens in great shape
Course in good shape, greens are nice. Course is challenging but enjoyable.
Great greens!
I got an early hot deal for $25!
I was nearly first out, and paired up with a guy named Ken W, and we had a grand ole time. Fun course...great shape, and great deal with hot deal!
A pleasant surprise
The Palm-Aire Country Club outing was a very pleasant experience. The grounds were well kept and the clubhouse crew was pleasant helpful. My wife and I found the course fun and challenging. We played after 3:00pm so the outing was really a steal for quality of the Mighty Oaks course we played
Beautiful course
Very challenging
Regret that nobody around to Check the pace of the parties and thus allows a fluid golfing
