staff friendly
online booking worked like a charm, Starter got me right out, played at 7:15am
played at this course twice, had to go back 2 holes kicked my butt, got even
Greens in great shape
Course in good shape, greens are nice. Course is challenging but enjoyable.
Great greens!
I got an early hot deal for $25!
I was nearly first out, and paired up with a guy named Ken W, and we had a grand ole time. Fun course...great shape, and great deal with hot deal!
A pleasant surprise
The Palm-Aire Country Club outing was a very pleasant experience. The grounds were well kept and the clubhouse crew was pleasant helpful. My wife and I found the course fun and challenging. We played after 3:00pm so the outing was really a steal for quality of the Mighty Oaks course we played
Beautiful course
Very challenging
Regret that nobody around to Check the pace of the parties and thus allows a fluid golfing
Very good
We enjoyed the golf course very much and hopefully will be able to play it again before we leave. The course was in very good condition. The fairways were good and the greens very fast.
Also the personnel were very pleasant.
Mighty Oaks OK but not Mighty
Booked a great deal for a 3 PM start time. Price was unbeatable and with daylight saving time we were able to finish 18 with no problems. The fairway was very thin, not much grass under the ball. This made pitching and chipping difficult. The pace started out slow, but got faster on the back nine. The layout was challenging, but fair....not too difficult, but punishing if you didn't stay in the fairway. Not a premier course anymore, but certainly worth playing for the right price.
Course was in good shape, fairways were a little long.
We had the first tee time, and they put the next group out right away. They could not have waited for their tee time. We felt pushed the first few holes. The starter was not friendly. Did not asked if we had played there before, which we had not. He did not give us any direction on where the first tee box was. He seemed much more concerned about the larger group behind us. I would go back but did not like the treatment from the starter.
The Oaks is a moderately challenging course. Greens are tough to hold.
The course was in good condition considering the moderate drought conditions this time of the year. The bunkers were great. The greens were hard but putts rolled nicely. Pace of play was slow initially, until the ranger hurried the group ahead and then we were flying! For a first timer and high handicapper, it was a challenge to find the best lines off the tees and into the greens (especially when you dont know which side of the green is safest).
With special golfnow.com, this course is definitely worth a visit.
With the last minute deal from golfnow.com, I played early in the morning with another player and finished the game in exactly 3 hours without pressure from behind or waiting for front players. The course was pristine and the fairways and greens were great. The layout of the course is challenging enough for an intermediate player, but I would love to have some more difficult holes. Anyway, I had a great time.
Great Course Super Value
This course is awesome! The day we played the course was in beautiful condition. The fairways were lush and the greens were pristine and very consistant speedwise as the ball rolled well. Everyone was super friendly and I really can't wait to go back and play here again!! Even lunch was great!!
Good Greens
played the Oak's course liked the greens they rolled good and the lay out was fairly challenging. Proshop was well stocked and friendly.
Solid Value
Played the Oaks on a holiday weekend. Solid value for the money - it met my expectations for paying $65. Only complaints are that it is a little slow (took almost 5 hours, although I must admit, we played at a prime time - 9am tee time on a weekend) and that the options for food at the turn are pretty limited.
Could have been more oppinionated on the 50/50 points.
The PalmAire courses have always been a top choice of mine. The Oakes and the Cypress are top of the list. I will always play the PalmAire before other courses in the region.
Oaks Course - Pricey, but will play again.
I really liked this course. We teed off at 7:30 finished at 11:30. That has value during peak season in S Florida when some rounds will take you 5 hours this time of year. Greens were in great shape but small. Fairways were in good condition and ample landing area. The course is fair but plays harder due to smaller elevated greens.
nice courses
Played both the oaks and the cypress enjoyed both courses, they were in good shape. Oaks has easier and a bit faster greens than cypress and I scored better there because of it. Can't go wrong with either course though both enjoyable.
Course was in very good condition. We played the round in about 4 hours. The Oaks course has always been one of my favourites and it continues to be.
Course was in very good condition. The Oaks course has always been one of my favourite South Florida courses and it has not failed me yey. Also cannot beat the hot deal price if you want to play early. Hope to play it again before I leave.
Great staff......good condition and well cared for.
Had a very enjoyable round, with speed of play very reasonable.
Good value on a fast deal, staff very amicable!
3 great courses in 1 location!
The GolfNow special pricing makes these 3 courses well worth playing. The Palms, Oaks and Cypress courses are in excellent condition. Not too challenging, but not too easy. The greens at the Oaks and Cypress are pristine, firm and fast. Nice variety of hole lengths, shape and hazards.
Greens are on par with Doral.
I would play there again and again. There are some interesting holes. Sand traps come into play on a few of the holes. There is water but do not come into direct play.
