Very challenging.
Great layout but condition of fairways and tees was average at best.
Very good layouts
Conditioning of fairways and tees could be much better, greens are pretty good.
Course wasn't up to par with the ratings I had previously seen.
I had read reviews rating this course in the top 10 of public courses in the Fort Lauderdale area. Unfortunately, I found the course to not live up to those ratings. The course has a very nice layout with a good variety of holes. The overall condition of the course was below average. The cart paths are in very poor condition - the course fairways and rough were in need of grooming/mowing. The approaches to the greens and fringe areas were in very marginal condition. There was no valet or club drop service and the walk from the parking lot to the pro shop was approximately 1 block long. I would not recommend this course to others - particularly considering and comparing it to the many other fine courses in the area of comparable price.
good value
good value, some greens unfair approaches roll off with good shots, back nine greens a little beat up
We'll be back
Very well maintained. We played twice during the last 2 weeks. The course was in very good shape except for 2 greens which had scrape marks, but were being repaired.
problem landscapers
The problem is unique to this course, this guys stay to mow the greens even if you put on them, on the course it makes no sense to yell, they have headphones on. The staff themselves run their equipment on the greens and on the sensitive or wet parts of the fairway and leave heavy damages. The guys in the pro shop and at the carts are super super friendly. the people on the course you might just forget.
I played on this course a long time, it is owned by a Canadian company and that's all they care about, so in summer the greens are bad, now they are finally mowed and pristine. Even with membership its to expensive in the Winter, besides that with a Canadian passport (non member) you play the same rates as a Florida member!!!!
Fairways and Greens in excellent shape!
I had played this course last year and then it was in good shape, it is now in great shape, recommend strongly!
Ok course however master starter very rude and play is very slow
Arrived early for 9:53 tee time greeted by a very rude and short with guests attitude. Finally sent to first tee at 10:15 to find 5 total groups at the first tee ahead of us. A five some ahead of us once we finally got off played very slow as did most groups it seemed. Finally finished after 3pm over 5 hours later.
If you are Canadian might be your place as it seemed all golfers were Canucks
Good challenging golf course
Good course conditions
Diificult to know the distgances for sand trap and water hasard. Better to play with distance finder if you never play the course
dont waste your time
course was in terrible shape. Pace was extremely slow. We were a 2some behind a foursome who never considered the though of letting us play through. Fairways are a cow pasture. Greens were nice though.
Funny but hard
Good golf course
Be careful the green don't pitch much and the ball run away.
Much holes with water around.
Long and Tough.
The Cypress course is visually and physically challenging. It lived up to both its slope and rating. The greens were a little slower than we had anticipated but their condition was still great.
The only criticism was we had a mid day tee time on a Friday and course maintenance was going on everywhere. The maintenance workers were rude and would neither stop their mowers to allow us to hit or get out of the way. Several times they drove machines past us while we were either teeing off or hitting shots. Thought Monday was maintenance day.
Very enjoyable experience
Very nice course good speed of play nice layout would definitely play again course in nice condition.Great value.
Great course
The cypress at Palm Air is the most difficult course their but we all enjoyed playing this course
The Cypress: nice course - fair price!
The course is in very good condition and the pace of play was terrific. The greens are confusingly slow but are well maintained. Lots of water - bring some spare balls.
Very good course if we take into account the price
Good condition. I have played all the 3 courses and really like it. If you play under 6300 yards, you will find in the Cypress a good challenge. If you play more then 6500 yard, go with the Mighty Oaks. The Palm is pretty easy, but since they rebuilt it, it was the one with the best conditions
