City Of Lauderhill Golf Course
About
Lauderhill Golf Club is a nine-hole course that is ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round, regardless of skill level. The layout features plenty of water and the towering trees also present a challenge. You won't get any chances for driving on this course, but your short game skills will definitely get a workout. This par-30 golf course measures only 1,200 yards from the back tees. You might be surprised by some of the very short holes, including a few that are only 70 yards or so, but it's a fun round if you're looking for something casual. While it may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, Lauderhill G.C. is a great value for the money. It is one of the most affordable golf courses in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Great pitch and putt
Nice muny a bit rough around the edges but nice layout
Has potential
It has a lot of potential if the city would invest in it
Extremely Small Course
I had read reviews of other people stating the course was small, but was not prepared for how small. I expected it to be around the size of an executive course, but it is much smaller. The first hole is 65 yards. I am by no means a power hitter (average drive is around 240 yards), but I was able to drive the green on both par 4’s with a 7 wood. The only par 5 is listed as 270 yards, but I drove over the green with my driver at about 75% power. My wife and I played 9 holes walking and finished in an hour. The staff were friendly and it seems like a good course for learning how to play or kids lessons, but that’s about it. Paid $10 each for our tee time and I would say I feel like we over paid.
value for the money but..
It is a small golf course. You might not use driver even. Not crowded but there seems a reason. Location is also not attractive. Some outsider folks trespass the course but no one controls it. Also cart fee is not included
worst greens of all time, but a decent starting point
The greens on this 9-hole course are riddled with weeds and are generally horrible for putting. However, it is a good enough layout to get great practice in with your wedges and some irons. There is really only one hole that you can drive on at all. Some of the tees have you shooting directly toward other tees, so the pace can slow down a bit if you are waiting for someone to hit on a hole a few back from where you are. The are some water hazards on the course and the shrubby trees are thick enough to lose balls in. The little swamp next to hole 2 is particularly troublesome. I will say the staff is great and they offer cart rentals for cheap if you don't feel like walking. Play here if you are brand new to golf and want a judgment free course to practice at for little investment.
Cheap for a reason
Course should be $10 a person. Anything more is a stretch. Not maintained but a course for the money is fair. Could be kept up a little better but it’s in a rough surrounding area so it’s expected to not be up to date. Can play 18 if you replay the first 9 again which is good. Pace of play in the afternoon was fine but there is no starter so first come first serve.
A Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon
The gal at the front desk was awesome. What a lnice place.Just a fun day on a Sunday. We'll definitely be back
You couldn't possibly ask for more for the money
Not acceptable
Very poor course condition. Bring my girl friend for practicing her golf but no good lie everywhere on this course. Nothing to help new golfers
Great Staff
The staff makes it worthwhile. The golf course needs care.
Very cheap for a beginner learning how to play golf
The course is very short and is set up for a beginner. The grains are very poor rough dried up, but it’s a great course. If you wanna swing your irons and you’re not worried about nice smoothputting..
Great price
The price was right for this course. It was not too busy and enjoyed playing at Lauderhill. It would be even better if they improved the greens.
