Diamond Valley Golf Club is an easy drive into Hemet Valley from a number of locations including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Though it's easily accessible, the course is tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, offering a feel of peaceful seclusion. The layout encompasses a variety of terrain, from scenic waterscapes to lush, rolling hills covered with native plants and grasses. With dramatic elevation changes from tee to green, this course isn't walker friendly, which can easily be overlooked if you're looking for a truly formidable test. The sloping nature of the landscape lends a different character to each hole and the elevated tees provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. One of Diamond Valley Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th. It's as scenic as it is challenging, requiring a short iron to wedge shot over a cascading waterfall.

course is slightly challenging
starter failed to mention that men's club tour was starting off the back nine....we were forced to play the front 9 twice. weather and heat made the wait intolerable.
course is degrading
This course is not maintained like it used to be. Staff is not friendly at all. This used to be a real nice course, but It has gone dowm hill on my opinion.
bad condition
This course USED to be a great place to play and one of the best values around. Fairways were rough, greens were bumpy, and the traps were hard like concrete!! No water in the ball washes and the drinking water on the course was warm as bathtub water. I only payed $15 to play and it wasn't even worth paying $5 and they charged me $10 for my wife to ride when it didn't even require an extra cart!!
Great time
The greens were punched about 2 weeks ago, did not effect roll, every iron into greens stopped dead, very soft. At $39 on a Sunday at 8:30 great bargain. Love playing out there!
Layout is challenging. Long par 4's into the prevailing wind.
Having played the course before, I knew what to expect. I wasn't told, however, that most of the greens had been punched, though still playable with some speed. I still enjoyed the course.
great course and value
Excellent shape and very playable for the money. The staff is friendly and the greens and fairways sre super shape.
great value for the buc
They need to have a starter outside not just pay and go. very confusing and people go out of turn. your starting time means nothing if someone beats you to the course even if they don't have a confirmed time. They also need a marshal on the course to keep up the pace of play.
The course is peaceful, quite and relaxing.
Beautiful golf course and friendly staff. peaceful location and
affordable price, good for average player at the same time
challenging and enjoyable.
Great course moderate staff
I've played here before but paid full price and was treated different.
Staff treated us different when they found out we used Golfnow to get a tee time.
We've been there in the past and were treated great. This is the first time we used Golfnow to make the booking. I did not feel the same as before.
One of the best courses in the Riverside county.
Diamond Valley is how golf is meant to be played. No homes, great lay out, and pristine condition. If you love golf you need to make the drive out to Diamond Valley to play this gem.
Great course and great value.
Diamond Valley Golf Club is a great course and great value when you book it through GolfNow. The greens are in excellent shape and roll true and fast.
The golf shop and canteen needs upgrading
It is located in a remote area and takes longer time to reach there ,otherwise taking all parameters in consideration it is of the finest golf course. I recommend this golf course without hesitation.
BAD SERVICE/FIVE SOMES
My Playing partner and I arrived at the course at 11:30 for a 1208 tee time And we told we could not check in because it was too early? We were told to go to the putting green and we would be called. So we proceed to the putting area and the noticed two groups of five some's going out. I the asked my partner what time is it? He stated 1148. So I noticed there were no other groups on the tee. I proceed back into the clubhouse and the lady behind the counter turned around and looked at the clock and said your still too early. I then told her that should we have a cart now so we could put our things in it and get ready. She said she would and that we could not go out early. In all of my years playing golf I have never been treated like a kid in a time out situation. When we finally teed off to be meet be the two groups of five some's and with over a forty minute wait per hole. I will never play this course again and recommend other's to not waste your gas by driving to a course so far away and where customers are treated like criminals.
Control and accuracy will get you a great score here, distance will be risky but reward plenty.
I've played this course atleast 10 times and I can say that this is a fun course. Very exciting decisions to make with several options to attack most holes. Reachable but dangerous par 4 on back 9. Hole 18 probably has the hardest green I've ever played, accuracy is very important coming into this green...but fun! Beautiful water/lakes that are usually clear enough to see the fish and occasional golf balls. Great course to test your skills an fun cousre to have a laugh with your buddies as you all hit ridiculous shots.
Course was in great shape!
This was a 70 mile drive each way for me but it was well worth it! I will for sure be playing this course several more times. I love the layout too!
Great course in fine shape. Good value for money.
Well maintained moderately challenging course at a great price.
Good deal for the money. Well maintained.
Course is a little out of the way. No houses surrounding it, which I like. Was in pretty good shape for 30 dollars on a Friday. Greens were a bit on the slow side, but were well countoured and tricky to read at times.
Some of the Par 4's are drivable for the longer hitters and risk/reward for the shorter guys, which I like. A couple tough par 3's and a couple really easy one shotters. Par 5's were standard.
Pace of play was good until a group jumped in front of us on 9, overall about 4.25 hours.
Clubhouse is nothing to write home about at all and neither is the range. Overall, I would recommend this to the average golfer looking for a course in good shape for a good price.
