Diamond Valley Golf Club is an easy drive into Hemet Valley from a number of locations including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Though it's easily accessible, the course is tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, offering a feel of peaceful seclusion. The layout encompasses a variety of terrain, from scenic waterscapes to lush, rolling hills covered with native plants and grasses. With dramatic elevation changes from tee to green, this course isn't walker friendly, which can easily be overlooked if you're looking for a truly formidable test. The sloping nature of the landscape lends a different character to each hole and the elevated tees provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. One of Diamond Valley Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th. It's as scenic as it is challenging, requiring a short iron to wedge shot over a cascading waterfall.

Good overall!!
Course is in better than average condition. Like any golf course there can be minor conditioning problems. Nothing worth noting. Course was quit and pace of play was good. If you don't live in the nearby area it can be difficult to get to. It is a fun course to play and I have played it several times and enjoyed them all.
Great condition every time I've ever played this course
Great combination of design, course condition including greens, difficulty factor, speed of greens and speed of play, Could use a marshall on weekends to speed up play on the first par three #3.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Diamond Valley Golf Course, Dosent have a fancy club house or a state of the art food & beverage menu, But what it does have is a golf course that is very challenging from the Blue & Black markers and thoughtful for those who play the foward tee boxes. the wind will challeng you and it will shift from day to day. if you dont bring your A game it can be very frustrating. AND THAT'S WHY I LIKEW IT SO MUCH IT HAS MADE ME A BETTER GOLFER, ( I PLAY IT 3 TO 4 TIMES A MONTH) And as far as getting your moneys worth I have paid more at other course's and the conditions of the course was lousy.
Nice layout
All the holes are a little different so there is good variety on the course. Some fairways are wide and a few are tighter. Greens are in good shape. Played in the rain so the round went fast. Typical round is say 4.5 hours
Course looks great
Greens a little shaggy, fairways in good shape, maybe a little moist
Slow greens surrounded by "Attitude"
For such a "remote" location, this course was very surprising regarding the good playing condition and fairness. The drive out was doable and enjoyable. Very low key environment (i. e. The road signage for the turn off leading to the course was very weathered and somewhat unreadable) with not much play this time of year. My only criticism would be the greens we're very, very slow (I'm guessing 8-9 STMP). The Pro shop staff member (only 1 working) was very dismissive and lacked any personality......bordered on interacting with me with an"attitude"! Once on the course though......enjoyable day! Glad I made the trek out to this little community.........would not recommend to a Handicap of >8
This course is a train wreck!
Sadly, this was one of the worst golf experiences we've had. The greens and fairways were so wet and soggy it felt as if we were walking on a sponge. Water would squish up around our shoes. The rough hadn't been cut recently and it too was wet and soggy so with every shot there was water and mud flying around. There was no bounce and very little roll in the fairways. Carry shots to the green or over a bunker would plug because the course was so soggy. We quit after playing nine holes. Just a truly disgusting experience!
The staff was very accommodating
The course was in great shape. The greens were a little slow.
Maybe the best value for the moeny in the valley
If this course were in Canada or even Palm Springs and manicured a little better you would be paying $100/round. I got on for $22 (golf now) with a cart. There is enough golf course and terrain to challenge a golfer of almost any calibre. A buddy played with Graham Delaet just after he finished Q-school a couple of years ago and Graham was 7 under, but for mere mortals, you'll love it.
great lay up nice holes
the course is nice I like it but the problem was the greens on the front 9 was very slow, not being cut or at least roll. Back nine the first 4 holes very nice fast next 3 medium fast, last 2 slow. other wise fairways nice tees okay nice pace. can never adjust on the greens.
Everyone was friendly and the course was in very good shape.
I think this has to be one of the best values in the Inland Empire, or Southern, Ca for that matter. The greens were a little slow, but everything else about this course was great. Really enjoyed it and will play it again soon. A real gem!!! If you haven't played it you are missing a treat.
Nice Course
Been here a few times, and always liked it. For a beautiful Saturday, it was uncrowded and we did not feel rushed at all. Surprised how well maintained it was in spite of the super hot and dry summer we had this year.
A wonderful course. Lot's of variety.
Course was cart-path only due to fall maintenance; greens were not mowed due to the same, accordingly, the greens were definitely two-putt only. Otherwise, the course was in great shape and is a gem. Those who play it for the first time are in for a treat-very few courses have the variety in length and difficulty of Diamond Valley. You get all the golf you want and at a good price, especially weekday rates.
I had a wonderful afternoon golfing. The staff was accommodating, and helpful.
I really enjoyed the round of golf. The Fairways were well maintained, and the grounds were in really good shape. Even the areas off the coarse Natural flora was groomed and made it a pleasure to advance the round. The Water was very clean and the course at most holes had water for drinking to stay hydrated. My guest even stated the port a potty near 16 was very clean and smelled very clean.
Overseeding in progress.
Fairways, greens very wet and had to stick to golf cart paths. Made for a long, but enjoyable day.
The course has lots of great feature.
This is a great looking course, and very challegening, this is a course that u have to think about ur shot.
Course not playable right now.....
Greens over-seeded and not mown, like putting on Velcro. Sprinklers on continuously (like playing at an arcade). would not pay more than $15 for this course for another month.
Course can be a challenge, as some fairways are narrow.
Good course, always enjoying playing it. I don't understand why it is not played by more people. Course is maintained well as can be expected with the heat of the area. I play as a single and am seldom paired with other players, I find it more enjoyable to play with others.
Favorite Course in the IE (for the money)
This is my favorite track in the IE. Greens are always great and fairways usually solid too. Can't beat the price for a course in this condition. Great layout (play the morning bc it gets HOT in the afternoon in the summer) with fun holes. Love this one!
Course was in very good condition for the summer and had it's challenges.
I played the course as a single in the hot summer, so there were few people on the course which made it play very fast.
I would like to see more grades within each category to correspond with the overall rating. For instance, while I would not call the course "pristine", I thought it was very well maintained. Also, while the staff was not "super friendly" in my brief encounter, I felt they were more than cordial.
Overall, I enjoyed the course very much, but it could use more trees to add some character.
