Diamond Valley Golf Club is an easy drive into Hemet Valley from a number of locations including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Though it's easily accessible, the course is tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, offering a feel of peaceful seclusion. The layout encompasses a variety of terrain, from scenic waterscapes to lush, rolling hills covered with native plants and grasses. With dramatic elevation changes from tee to green, this course isn't walker friendly, which can easily be overlooked if you're looking for a truly formidable test. The sloping nature of the landscape lends a different character to each hole and the elevated tees provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. One of Diamond Valley Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th. It's as scenic as it is challenging, requiring a short iron to wedge shot over a cascading waterfall.

Great Value
It's out there a little ways but its in great shape and a fun course to play. Not the hardest, nor the easiest course but it has some interesting holes.
Worth the drive
Most greens need to be shaved but once they are you better bring your A game. Great course. Nice and isolated.
Great time was had by all
Super friendly staff and beautiful views. Lots of wild life. Conditions were great! On my to do list again.
This is a very nice golf course!
I have played here several times. The course has been in excellent condition each time. The course offers a very good challenge. The greens are excellent.
The coarse is in great shape.
You couldn't drive on a couple of the holes yet because of overseeding.but not that big of a deal. overall it is in great shape. Some tough holes and some easier holes.
nice greens.
The course is in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Value for the
money was very good..
Nice course layout
The Course is nice and reasonably priced but it is a little out of the way. I will play here again but when I played it on October 7th the front nine were in the middle of being overseeded and soaking wet. The course should be up to speed now with their annual maintenance but check before you book.
Worth raving about!
In the middle of Nowhere, CA is this beautiful, well managed course. Hats off to the greens superintendent. Yes, the greens were super slow due to top seeding, being soft and not cut, but when they are cut and rolled watch out.
The guest services personnel were top notch. Thanks for a great experience on a course where each hole presented a different look in the midst of wonderfully thoughtout growth.
Nice course with SLOW! Greens.
Overall condition was pretty nice but the greens were way too slow. I think I would have shot better chipping on the greens than putting.
Getting in great shape
With the snowbirds flocking to the Inland Empire, some of the courses like Diamond Valley and Hemet GC have done a lot of overseeding. The greens at Diamond Valley are "fuzzy" and should be in perfect shape by Thanksgiving. Until then, they are very slow. Fairways have greened and this challenging course in a rural setting is a joy to play.
great couse except durning re-seeding season
They are in the process of re-seeding the course, so no cart on course, golf cart path only, 2 of the par 3 were closed, but they had replacement holes. the greens are like putting on shag carpet. I would wait until they cut the greens back, about another week or so. call first to get updates before booking round.
This Course Should not be Played for a Couple of Weeks
We knew to expect cart path only so we were prepared for that. We didn't know that two of the par three's were closed. One we found out after the fact was moved to a different location and in a different order. We were frustrated they were late opening and even later bringing up the carts. Sprinklers were on a computer timer that made a difficult cart path only play even more difficult. Greens had not been mowed and we felt like we were putting through molasses. All in all we were disappointed that we didn't know about all of the course issues prior to driving 45 minutes to get there. As a result we were frustrated with Diamond Valley as well as Golf Now because had we known about the true conditions we would never have booked here at any price. This was no deal!
deceitful
I play this course a few times a year - no mention that the geens had just been punched and were long & shaggy - 2 holes also closed with temp holes set up in their place, Would have booked elsewhere if the above info was known.........
course was very bad
cart path only, not told in advance. New grass on most greens but not cut? Sprinklers came on us more than once getting cart and clubs wet. wasn't worth $10 let alone $27. My partners (3 of us played) were VERY unhappy
This course will test your skills
Several challenging holes will test your skills to maintain accuracy of hitting the fairway sweet spots. The pace of play in the afternoon was very good. The course was well maintained except that the greens that had just been aerated. The staff was friendly and helpful with excellent knowledge of the course. We enjoyed our round and will be back to play again.
Great cours, nice layout greens and fairways are in good shape
I always have liked this course, it doesn't get alot of play due to the fact it is out there a bit. this is a plus if you dont mind the drive. the greens are in great shape, fairways are awesome and the lay out is comfortable. The snack bar is adaquate. the price is well worth it and there always seems to be a Hot deal which makes it even a better bargin..
A real challenge
The course was well maintained as it usually is, the staff was friendly, this course plays real difficult when the wind is up, lots of crosswinds. Senic views on many holes.
very good course
My golf bodies and I play this course very aften its one of our favorite course in the Inland Empire the staff always on top of things and very friendly.
One of our favorite courses.
Course was in very good shape. Greens are always a challenge, but it is a fun course to play.
