The Golf Club at Rancho California

I play this course all the time. And I accidentally booked the wrong day and came the day before the actually tee time. I come here so often it’s not even funny. They were not able to accommodate me by refunding the 35 dollars that if you don’t cancel, they charge you. Which is ridiculous. The only Course I know that does that. So if you play make sure you book the correct time obviously. Either way they are not really customer friendly. They always look bothered when you go check in for your tee time. Both the starter (old guy with glasses) and the kid that works in the office are insufferable and hear them talk so poorly about guest that play there. Like if no one hears them. Wish they were more helpful to my situation.

I will never again iplay at this course. I mean, I had a late round last Saturday and got busy when I was cleaning out the cart and left my rangefinder and the case in the cart turned it into the clubhouse at like 6 PM. The next morning around 1030 I realize I didn’t have it called them and it’s nowhere to be found so somewhere between me dropping it off to them and the time I called it just disappeared. I find that hard to believe I think they employ people that definitely aren’t honest because there’s no way that someone didn’t see my range finder when they cleaned out the cart

This course is challenging at times with the wind but super fun as well. Some of the best greens around.

Great value, well designed course. Course in good condition but clubhouse is older and needs updated. Course is owned by Ricky Fowler and was his home course according to a local. Sand traps could use more sand.

This unexpected heat in March must have caught your staff off guard. The 5 gallons water jugs on the course were empty during the late afternoon. Hot summer days I would consider that unexceptionable, but it's March, so you all get a pass this time.

Course is looking good, the gps system worked fine, carts are in good shape and the greens were running true. Overall good day of golf.

Played this course with a buddy, first time visitors. Stunning views, great pace of play took 4hrs 15min to complete a full round starting at 7:15am as a 3 man slot group. Greens were fast & trick made it challenging, large fairways to keep you excited about play.

This is a well designed course. Greens are fast 12.

Staff is very friendly. The pace is usually very good but on this day we followed a shotgun start. A tournament came here because their home course just had their greens punched.(Redhawk)

It's always been nice playing at this course. As a high handicapper, I found it challenging but still very enjoyable. I liked that it made me think carefully about each shot and approach the game more strategically.

A few of the hole and pin placements could have been better positioned. In particular, it was difficult to sink putts when the pin was placed on an incline.

Overall, my friends and I had a great time and enjoyed the experience.

We had a great time playing the course and really enjoyed the challenge of the course along with the fast greens.
