Westridge Golf Club

I’ve never seen this in all of my 30+ years of playing and/or working at a golf course. We had a 9:15AM tee time. We drove off of hole #14 at 2:30PM because the pace was so bad. The round would’ve taken 6 hours. (Not a misprint. I thought 5 hours was long!) The staff did absolutely nothing and never mentioned or apologized for it. There is a definite “we don’t care” attitude in the pro shop.

Unbelievable!

On top of that, the conditions were mediocre at best. Many bare spots and no consistency. The course could be a really nice place with a fun layout. Instead, is is over crowded with poor management.

Would not recommend!

I played this course 8-9 months ago I remember it being in good condition. It felt like it was a steal for the price. Fairways were green, rough was maintained the greens were nice. I will not be returning here after playing today. The fairway were dirt the rough was weeds and the greens were dead. Not too sure what is going on but the place is going downhill. Another mention is the range balls were some of the worst range balls I’ve ever hit. I give it a 2/10 in my book. The staff is really friendly and they were great. no complaints about them

Course is getting in better shape however, bunkers need a lot of help too hard, and too gravelly more sand needs to be added

Perfect weather, excellent company. Tee boxes & greens in great shape. Fairways had a few bare spots, but not enough to negatively impact our day. Initially we were paired with another twosome. The starter was pleasant and allowed us to play as a twosome. Always love that for a relaxing round. No shade to anyone. No problem staying with the twosome ahead of us. We had to wait before many shots as did they. No problem. It was a beautiful day. While waiting prior to a shot, a single male rider without clubs who appeared to be on staff approached. Without any type of greeting, he asked in a foul tone “Is there a reason you are not playing with the twosome in front of you”. My playing partner told him we requested and were allowed by the starter. The male said nothing and drove away. Definitely put a negative cloud over the experience. Thankfully we grew to be able to laugh about the incident and completed our round in just under 4 hours.

PACE (negative stars)

We didn't finish. And when we passed the people ahead of us to see who was holding up the line, it looked like everyone was at pace and already waiting to hit. When we got to the end, the people's cart finishing said 1:18 tee time. It was 7 PM. That's ridiculous!! We started before 3 pm. It looks like the course just booked too many people.

SNACK BAR (2-star) Another annoying thing is that the food vendor next to the starter will not give you ice or water to play and ran out of items on the menu. But I remember getting the last time the food was good. The starter offered me to go upstairs but that's ridiculous, if you're close to tee time.

The only positive thing was the staff who took my cart was friendly, the bathroom was clean and the Korean barbecue smells good but I didn't have time to order since we were so late. Oh do we have a picture on how backed up we were home what type of golfer are you

Won’t play here again; the fairway and greens are in terrible terrible condition.

It’s really too bad because the course is quite fun; some challenging holes we had a lot of fun playing but often times the course reminded us how bad of a shape it’s in. Ive never seen greens so mistreated. Worth $35-49 for 18 holes not $65

The course is so poorly maintained.

All of the greens have (18) different speeds.

Fairways usually don't have any grass.

Bunkers are rock solid.

The roughs are so thick.

It usually takes 6+ hours to play.

I have never played this slow in my life. They way overbooked. The front 9 took over 3 hours. We had plans in the afternoon so decided to start jumping holes to see if we could get past the bottleneck. We skipped 5 holes and finished in 5 hours. We witnessed a 4 some sharing 2 sets of clubs and also a group of 7. The course clearly allowed because the ranger passed by them all day and never broke them up. I felt like I was ripped off by paying to play this course.

I've played this course for several years and the conditions have always pretty good. Unfortunately, this last round I noticed that there are more bare areas on the fairways where there used to be grass. We have had so much rain this year, one would think the fairways would be lush. It was a Monday holiday that our group of 8 played and we waited on every hole. All the years prior, I don't ever remember having to wait every hole. So I'm hoping it was just that one day....

First of all…PACE OF PLAY IS SUPER SLOW

They also have someone writing down license plates to vehicles when entering the parking lot. They said it’s due to theft but I highly doubt that.

No golf carts to the parking lot because they are huge on no outside food or drinks.

Layout and conditions are terrible and it’s a terribly narrow course.

I have played here 4 times now. I’m officially done and never coming back. I keep telling myself it’ll get better, but it doesn’t.
