Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,600 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Do not play here

Took us 3 hours to play 9 holes. The green and fairways were awful. This used to be a nice course with a solid rate of play. We asked for our money back after 9 and was told they would call us. I have not received a call back. Do not play here.

Way too long on wait for the back 9

We had to wait for the tee for 10 - 20 minutes on each hole by the time we got to the back 9.. we didn’t even finish otherwise we would have had a 5.5 -6hr game when we usually play 4-4.5.. not worth the money.

The Starter was clueless

The starter was letting groups from 3:30 pm and 4:20 pm tee times go together while my group (3:45) ) had to wait. The starter (Korean guy wearing white arm sleeves) kept letting other Korean groups go even when it wasn’t their tee time. I understood what they were saying and so I asked him why that group gets to go ahead of us, but he said he accidentally printed the papers wrong saying they are a 3:40 tee time… when I clearly heard them thank the starter in Korean for moving things around. Overall I would NOT recommend this course. Fairways and tee boxes are all crap too.
