Westridge Golf Club
About
Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,450 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Horribly run
This hasn’t been the first time this has happened but they constantly over book this course for the type of players who play there. We were supposed to tee off at 8:15 we didn’t end up teeing off till 8:25 and with that being said it took 3 hours to finish the front 9. Yes some of the players in front of us were not very good but none the less they only had 7 min gaps between tee times it isn’t going to take much to throw that off. I couldn’t even finish my round due to the pace of play problems created by the golf course.
One of the best!!
Really nice course all around greens fairways and staff. Pace was perfect especially with with covid thing started at 2:30pm and had enough time to finished 15 holes.
A pleasure!
Visiting SOCAL from South Carolina and played with son in law. First time playing this course. Felt it was a good value with good conditions compared to the other courses I saw in the area on GN. This course demands your full attention! No gummy’s...fairly narrow and sloping fairways are penal if you hit the wrong side of the fairway. Course was crowded but Marshall kept groups moving including ours. Good fast true undulating greens. Was never in a bunker so can’t comment but there are plenty of them. Overall very pleased.
Fast greens
Westy played very good for time of year great tee box’s, fairways are in better condition than any $50 courses, greens fast and consistent throughout course. Great day lots of fun thanks WestRidge
The golf course was okay, but playing time was 5 1/2 hours to finish 18 holes. The group in front of us too slow!!!
Golf was fun
Good golf, pace was slow and no cart staff for refreshments.
Still nice course!
Range attendent needs to show up for work
I had a tee time around 830 and I showed up early to warm up at the range. However the guy working there didn't show up until after 8. Does he realize he works at a golf course and there are tee times as early as 6am!??
This place has terrible management and has been putting in bad policies since the reopening.
Poor management - Lack of carts a problem
We were fortunate to have teed off earlier in the day.day so we got carts. We ended up with a 5.5 hr round. No marshall in sight. At the turn, there must have been almost 10 groups waiting for their carts.
The slow play and lack of carts must have been frustrating for everyone that day.
Westridge review
I like the course but, too many players with later tee times than mine jumpef ahead of our group further slowing the pace of play.
Marshall needs to regularly drive course to keep everyone in line.
