Glenlakes
Very nice course with excellent staff. I usually play everytime I go to Orange Beach
Local golfer
The course layout is good. Great location. Nice staff.
There were grass clippings everywhere on and around the greens. Greens were very slow and in poor condition.
Great Price
On Vacation and I wanted to play. Many of the courses are so overpriced like Kiva,Craft Farms, Peninsula and Gulf Shores. Glen Lakes was actually underpriced and was fine. We as the golfing community need to boycott these overpriced courses until they get the hint.
The staff at Glen Lakes were awesome.
Cart girls were awesome great job girls.
Glen lakes
Greens are below average conditions. Staff and overall course are good. . Price is fairly reasonable
Excellent
Course was under a little repair but was in great shape! Staff was extremely friendly and service was great. Will definitely go again!
Rough greens
I've played this course many times, but over the last 15 months the course has been in decline. Fairways have modest improvements while the greens are in continued decline. Something needs to change. I will not play this course again until the spring of 2026.
Forgiving Fairways
Glen Lakes is mostly wide open with very few hazards. Wide fairways and large greens make it easy to play. Layout is decent with 27 holes available. Staff was helpful and pace was steady.
1st time playing
great layout and efficiently ran. prices where good bc of GN, normal fees are a bit high
Glen lakes Golf is still trying to recover from loss of greens in the winter storms!
The greens are still questionable from when the storms, Glenlakes was aerating this week again for the third time for the year.
Disappointed
I played the lakes course because of a junior tournament on the dunes course. I heard the dunes course was in great shape but I was very disappointed in the Lakes 9. It needed mowing everywhere and the traps were terrible. I would give them the benefit of doubt and hope it was because the tournament on the other course.
Sheldon’s experience at Glen Lakes
Glen Lakes Golf Course is in much better shape than in early April when I played there. Although the greens are still spotty with dead grass, they are improving. It was a total 90° rule on Monday 08/11 when I played, due to the amount of rain they’ve had in the last three days, over 5 inches of rain! Very difficult to get around the golf course.
Don’t like links golf
The dunes course was very sloppy I know they got a lot of rain the greens had a lot of sand and were very slow the vista course was considerably better not a million hills or having shots above and below your feet on every shot not nearly as sloppy if they let me play lakes and vista I would come back I really don’t like the dunes course
