Great layout
Course was in above average condition. The water problems from last week have been corrected. Poanna was still present but the roll really wasn’t effective. Pace of play was excellent. 18 holes took about 3 1/2 hours to play. Cart girl, I believe her name was Vonnie was friendly and loved her job. It’s the first time we saw the cart girl 5 times in a round.
High five to the entire staff at Glen Lakes.
Greens need help
Overall it's a very nice course. Wish the greens were more consistent. Some fast, some slow. Sand on some and they were the fastest and would move the ball. Go figure. 2 hour drive to get there and will play again.
Very Friendly
Awesome course. Great layout. Staff is one of the nicest and courteous around. From the starter to the bar to the cart girl. Was treated like family or club member even though I've only played here about 5 times over the years. Will definitely play again.
Great golf course! Can't wait until they complete the homes under construction.

Staff was friendly as usual. I was a bit surprised the the greens were in such poor condition as this isn’t normal for this course. Majority of the greens had a severe case of Pooana which made putting difficult. On several holes it looked like they had a pretty bad sprinkler issue as the turf was soaked and muddy.
I was thankful that I had a hot deals price because if I had paid the normal $50 price I would have been very disappointed.
Enjoyed the course and amenities, but slow play by a 5 ball in front of us really took away from enjoyment.
Nice course with some challenging holes, was very disappointed when they let a group of 5 go off first because they booked 2 tee times where there were a couple of inexperienced players in the group.
Pace of play was agonizing at times and they finally pushed them towards the end of the round but starting the day with a group of 5 and bottling up the course to start the day was very disappointing for such a nice course with great location.
Glen Lakes
Great course and bit of a links style with the terrain. For the area, its the best price also. Played there several times while out of town and will again.
Rough but inexpensive
Played Dunes and Vista
Dunes fairways were in mediocre condition and Green’s were in poor condition.
Vista’s fairways were more acceptable but greens were in poor shape, although better than greens on the Dunes.
We have played here before and the conditions were much better. There has been an unusual amount of rain this year and the conditions are indicative of that.
I will probably give it another try but not after so much rain.
Staff was excellent!
Like the course layout
With 18 holes you get two different courses on each half. Carts were good just wish they had upgrades like gps or Bluetooth. Top three in the panhandle.
Average member course. Hot deal was $35 which is about what this course is worth. Overall course maintenance could be better. Fairways were in good shape but greens are very slow. Starter was very friendly.
Overall = Excellent
I gave everything a 5/5 except conditions because a few of the greens had a top dressing that left clumps of sand all over them. We were able to kick any of the piles, in our way, around to give ourselves the best line. I would definitely recommend the course to anyone, we played Lakes.
