Sierra Star Golf Club

Pace of play is always questionable. Front 9 moves along reasonably well. Back 9 always agonizingly slow. Makes me question playing 18. May need to stick to just 9 holes. Beautiful course!

Sierra star is an amazing layout very challenging course.

The Ball can go much further because of elevation makes it challenge but also fun at the same time. The course was in much better shape this year than in 2024.. The greens were quite nice and rolled true..

Showed up putted a little bit. Put us on about 10min early.. Never waited played great can't wait to golf here again

Course was in great condition and greens were in better condition than last year.

All staff members are so friendly and courses condition are so good.

Great layout but greens rough. Winter is hard on golf courses at 8,000 feet! 2 years ago much better conditions.It would be appropriate to reduce rates when course conditions are poor.

Greens were terrible shape. Lot of bear spots on greens. Not worth the money now. Paid $ 175.

Greens have improved from two months ago. However, several were still in bad shape.

The greens were in really poor shape and the fairways were could have been much better. It is not worth more than Fifty bucks and that is because of the location and the tree lined fairways. Snow creek golf course is no better. I have played both about 10 times each in past years and they were always in decent shape. They lost me this time. The clubs will stay home in my future stays at Mammoth.

Half the greens are unplayable.

This is a beautiful course that we've played numerous times. Was surprised at the poor condition of the greens.

Well, I have played this course probably 6 times over the years. This trip had the worst course conditions I have ever played. Don't get me wrong I love this course and will continue to play it but at the new more expensive rate they could do better. Most of the greens were in terrible shape. They have been replacing the cart paths which is needed but not keeping the course itself in shape. Great staff! Love the area but try to get as many green fee discounts as you can to compensate for the poor conditions. I do realize that this is a mountain course so I understand the harshness of the elements but they should tell you when you book not when you arrive for your T-time?
