The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

nice course
nice place to play but need to work on water management

Way to wet, should not have been open
Booked a 2-ball here and arrived to find the course ‘cart path only’ and water everywhere. The course should have been closed as the fairways were under water in parts and 100% squishy, meaning we had at least six lost balls in the fairways that just went under. Then the bunkers were full of water, again costing us 2-3 balls where the water was so deep and dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. Not a good advert for the course as the management should have told players about the conditions and offered either a rain check or refund.

Fairway was good but wet after raining.
Greens’ speed were little bit slow.
Shape of holes were good and challenging.

Great as always
Love this course. Not their fault it's a little wet and the bunkers show that it's rain season. Would like for there to be a bigger time gap between tee times.

The course is under maintenance conditions.
I tried to play this course 3 Yeats ago, but the only had 9 holes open. Overall, we enjoyed the layout but the conditions were fair. The course has taken on alot of rain and alot of the greenside bunkers were filled with water. I'm not sure why they didn't pump these out, so be ready to take drops outside the bunkers. The tee boxes were playable but nowhere pristine. The fairways were good, with some muddy areas where the mowers couldn't get to. The greens overall were good with little inconsistencies from green-to-green. I liked the layout and I would likely return, but I wouldn't pay more that $65, for this course even in pristine conditions.

Good course
Played at a discounted rate due to the greens being aired. I’d play this course every week if the rates remained at this fair amount. Or if they offered a reduced resident rate year round.

On the up
Great course, great staff, and great amenities! Upon arrival the starter was super friendly and gave us a lot of information of the course. He mentioned they have been doing a lot to get the course in good condition, and I think the have done just that. All the practice facilities were in great shape, as was the course. There were some dead spots around bunker but everywhere else was well groomed and green. If anything I would think this course is underpriced for the location and conditions. The only thing was they close the grill pretty early in the off season so we couldn’t get food after an afternoon round.

Feels like it used to be great.
To be clear, Off the rip I was under the impression I was receiving a half priced rate at $45 or whatever it was, because of recent aeration. The greens had been punched but that was not an issue, they were in great shape for recent aeration.. The course was just a wreck overall. decent greens, fairways and tee boxes, but tons of overgrown areas, and for a course with hundreds of bunkers, it was by far the worst bunker conditions I have ever seen, times 200 or however many there are. Most were filled with water TO THE TOP, not just like oh it rained there's some casual water. All bunkers on this course, and there are a lot, played as actual water hazards. That said it was a decent day, but the driving range was closed, chipping green was closed, only thing open was a putting green. You really got the feeling this place used to be a banger. Unless I hear otherwise from friends it will be a very long time until I return.

Worth the Value
This course is such a cool layout. Always enjoy it. You can play from different tee boxes and have a very different experience. The greens are okay. The only issue would be some of the greens were cut inconsistently. I will be back. You will enjoy this course.

Long day
Played with eleven of my friends. Two foursomes in front of us very slow. One guy teaching others to play. Playing more than one ball. Not golf ready. Ranger talked to them 3 times to speed it up. Nothing! Be a while before we return.

Greens were recently aerated but still rolled well, should be great in the next week or so. Fairways had some dry spots but nothing atypical to Florida right now.

Falcons Fire is Back
After years of disrepair causing me to go elsewhere, I thought I’d give it try. So glad I did!! Although not quite 100%, the course was in good playable condition. Greens a little slow having just been aerated. Will plan to return soon.

Great layout
First time playing this course wasn’t sure what to expect. For the price and condition it is well worth the time. Really cool layout and not a ton of water which is rare for Florida courses. They had just air rated greens a few days prior but caused minimal issues on the greens. Most bunkers were well kept up and had a good range and practice green.
