About
Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

Nice course
Will play again course changeling but not overly hard. Great time with good friends. Green in great shape very fast, rolled pure

Course has some challenges
Need more happy hour specials . Need the specials to start at 3 instead of 4.

Played this course, I only played the front nine but will definitely return back to play 18! Highly recommended!
great greens but rock hard fairways
The course was very well kept and laid out extremely nice with a lot of ups and downs. Greens were nice and soft but had a lot of responsiveness and speed. Fairways were ok but so very firm and hard to hit off of.
Great value
Great course for the money! Temporary green on the back was a little disappointing but overall a good time.
Scenic Hills experience
My Scenic Hill Golf Course experience was both enjoyable and challenging. It has nice fairways and long holes which make you become far more selective about your clubs and your ball location in order to achieve par. I enjoyed it immensely and I can't wait to return.
Reasonable price for quite a bit of challenge
Played the course with my wife, interesting holes, reasonably challenging (I played off the blue tees).
Course maintenance was a little weak, some sandy parts on certain Locations on the fairways. Greens were not freshly mown that day thus quite slow and not holding the line.
Overall nice golf for reasonable price (70$ for two with cart), may come back and Play again.
Pretty nice condition
Play here at least once a month. Staff is friendly. Food is ok. Ordered grilled wings. When they came out, they looked like they were fried then grilled. Hot sauce was served on the side which was weird. Course was in good shape, but the greens were a little slow. That's my excuse at least for leaving several putts short. Great course for the price.
Very nice challaging greens
Tbe coarse is in great shape. The greens are always in nice. Their fast and lots of breaks. Love fast greens and true ones. They don't have little weeds in them like a lot of courses so your ball stays on line. If you don't practice some long puts before you go out you will be putting a lot of three puts. Greens are big and you will have some pretty lengthy putts.Fairways are good and wide rough is good not to tall. And sand traps above average. You will like it.
Quick 9 Holes
Was visiting my son in Pensacola. Decided to spend Saturday afternoon playing 9 holes. He was familiar with the course. Great value. Enjoyed playing.
recovering to greatness
The course has taken a little damage from storms in spring. But the course is recovering nicely and the staff is hopeful that the repairs and improvements are soon to come. The course is challenging without feeling impossible. The staff has been nothing but friendly and hospitable every time I walk through the door in the proshop.
Great golf course
We enjoyed the round of golf and we will play there again soon.
Frustrated vacationing golfer
The greens were terrible. Sanded and aerated greens aren't what I'm looking for in a vacation round of golf. You should warn people before they waste their money and afternoon of precious vacation time.
Interesting Course
The course was in great condition but the greens were rather quick.
