About
Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

Great greens
Recent flooding drained a couple of the lakes, and there is 1 temp green you can't putt on, but the rest of the course is exceptional. Greens are fast and fairways are lush.
Nice layout
Course was wet due to heavy rains the previous week. Older course with up to date clubhouse. This course is not a upscale Country Club but a nice blue collar establishment
Take it or Leave it
Probably could be a really cool place if better managed. We waited on every hole from the very first shot. Greens were dormant but coming back, rolled good and quick. Fairways and tee boxes were not anything special. Was a very windy day which made the play pretty difficult. Tight fairways in many cases, lined with houses… I would play it again later in the year when everything is green, after calling ahead to find out when to come when not busy.

Course is narrow and challenging. The range is below average and not worth the price of a small bucket. If you practice or warm up at another range facility prior to playing you can probably fare better on the course. If you like fast greens then this is the place for you. The hospitality of the facility was second to none!

the pace of play was extremely slow. The course layout was very nice, however it was completely bunch. You can see where the water runoff left the grass cuttings in waves on the fairways. With you for being what was holding a top for Cindy Pensacola area it was not worth the money. The tiger course in the area is a far better value far better conditions in for more courteous staff.

Well maintained course with a great staff. The fairways are in good shape and the greens are fast and true. We all loved it.
Very challenging , quick greens
Course has matured well with time , keep the ball in play greens , green side area's , fairways well maintained . Ruff, hard pan ,and roots will cost you some strokes . Designer did a great job getting you to think your way through this course . Be aware of elusion of distance with down hill or uphill shots . Not your typical Florida course . This course held the only major in the state of Florida US LPGA open ! You will enjoy this course . Few greens have recently been replaced
This course has recently put a few new greens in on some holes , scenic put the time in for them to turn out very well! Harder and faster somewhat.
I play this course quite often , It's in good shape always . It's older well established course greens, fairways and ruff need to be in play or will cost some stokes . The green are pretty fast most of the time ! Enjoy hit em straight!
Challenging course, well maintained
Picked Scenic Hills out due to location, as we were driving from Mobile to Tallahasee. Nice track, well maintained with excellent greens. Great value! Recommended!
Great course to play for Golfnow price.
The fairways had too much mowed grass residue and what yardage markers there were they were not accurate. Not enough yardage markers.
Very fun course; Great layout.
The staff was very friendly in the pro-shop. We had a fast and easy check-in process. The course looked great, cart paths were labeled very well and there was water stations set up at the perfect locations. We will play at scenic again for sure.
Greens are excellent
Got a "hot deal" for two players with cart. The clubhouse is immaculate and the staff very friendly. The greens are in great shape...I will come back again soon.
Good Course
Not too hard or easy. Course is in good shape. Only complaint is the way the cups were maintained. Plastic liner came all the way up to and sometimes above the surface of the green.
Fun/Challenging Golf Course
Very nice course and one of the nicer courses in the Pensacola area. The course is long and has a few doglegs and blind tee shots. Plus lots of hills. Good course for all levels of golfers.

I hadn't played at Scenic for quite awhile since they had some greens being worked on and it just didn't seem like golf when you aren't actually playing all the holes completely. I was impressed with the repairs and the course was very enjoyable just as before.
