Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

Excellent staff, course in o.k. condition.
Was very pleased with the staff at the course. I have played this course before and been met with less than friendly proshop employees. Even had my tee time given away because i did not check in 10 minutes before my tee time. not very nice. The course was in o.k. condition but was lacking a few things to make it a truly beautiful course. Bunkers needed some attention and the fairways had not been mowed in a few days.
Great course, not like most Florida courses. Tremendous value for the money.

Course in Great Shape - Challenging but Fun
I have played here a few times over the past few months, and the course is currently in great shape. Greens are fast and can be quite a challenge. Some tee shots require creativity/shaping to execute well. Got in a round of 18 in just under three hours playing on a weekday in a twosome.
great value at $20-30.
Well maintained course with very fast greens. Nice selections of tee boxes to fit the difficulty to your game. Two nearly 90 degree doglegs I didn't like. Will play again.
Poor maintenance
This course has a good layout, but really needs some TLC... Especially the greens
