Hammock Creek Golf Club
About
Hammock Creek Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Legacy Design, is a fabulous daily fee layout on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Opened in July of 1996, the Club has hosted several local, state, and national competitions. Featuring five sets of tees from 5,045 to 7,131 yards, the golf course is a favorite for both locals and snowbirds alike. The practice facility offers one acre of celebration turf to satisfy the most ardent game improvement golfers. The centerpiece of the Hammock Creek community though is the clubhouse, which completed an extensive renovation in October of 2020. The restaurant, verandahs, and dining deck offers breakfast and lunch daily, with a variety of daily and weekly specials to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite.

comfortable for senior player
Excellent facilities, range, club house and cart loaded GPS. Five sets of tees offeringl the distance to challange every level player. Traps were well groomed but be alert to the change when in a waste area. Greens were in good shape, fairly large and quick but not gimmicked. Pace of play was good. Possibly the wind (c.10-15mph) discouraged large numbers from play? A good experience. Would beglad to play it again.
Very Pretty Course with just enough water
Florida courses use water for both visual appeal and to make the play more challenging. I'd say they used it more for visual appeal here, which is fine for a 20 handicapper like me. Most holes have a safe approach side and the conditions were very good.
Thank you for leaving us a review. We appreciate your kind words about course. Please come back soon!
Drove 100 miles to play here

Took out of town guests. They enjoyed the experience.
Careful on the holes with blindspots. Almost beaned twice.

I would definitely play here again
Play golf
If you are a golfer and in the area you need to play. Every good staffing , coarse layout is good for all players. You and your players will have a great day of play.
Soppy and Soggy
We have played this course a number of times and love the layout. Staff in pro shop and restaurant are friendly and knowledgable.
The course was so wet that it was cart path only. I came off the course covered in mud as most of my shots were off the fairway. The cart paths were flossed in areas I'm sure my grips are still soaked from water entering the holes in h evottom of my bag.
Frankly, the course should have been closed for the day.
We love the course but will certainly call before setting out for the half hour drive to get there to determine course conditions.
Solid Florida golf with Nicklaus touches
Hammock Creek is not going to win any major awards, but it's a well-tended and thoughtfully laid out South Florida course. A bunch of bunkers, a bit of water and some angled greens, built to take a high, well-shaped approach, make it challenging without being onerous. Strongest holes include the par-3 8th and the par-5 17th. It's short on pizzazz but a decently priced play if you're visiting the Stuart area.
Great course
Have played this course ever year and it never disappoints. Greens are in good shape and run true. Staff was very friendly and the pace of play was great. 3:40 for 18. Will play again next year.
We appreciate you writing us a review! It's great to hear that you continue to visit us after all these years. Our staff will continue to work hard to make sure you'll visit for years to come. Thanks again and we'll see you the next time you come in.
OK
My first time playing this course. Course was nice but didn't meet my expectations based on their pricing and other reviews. I certainly wouldn't pay $44 to play this course this time of year. I liked the layout but condition of course was about average. Two mowers were on the 18th fairway when we teed off. The mower near the tee never stopped and we had to hit over him. When I got to my ball he was coming up behind me and didn't stop until I backed off my shot and held up my hand. The mower near the green did the proper thing and stopped.
Pace of play was great as we finished in less than 4 hours.
