Hammock Creek Golf Club

My home course received 2" of rain and was closed for Sunday. We had to look elsewhere. Hammock Creek had about 3/4" of rain, but the course was in great shape.

Afternoon tee time. I expected slow play. We played as a threesome and finished in 3:40.

Everything and everyone was great.

I always enjoy playing this course. The staff ialways makes you feel at home. The course is fun to play.

Fairways recently aerated. Cart path only due to recent heavy rain which made the on-cart GPS worthless. Not a lot of yardage markers and no way to tell pin position on greens. Greens did role true and at a decent speed. Will return in drier weather.

Played the end of May. Course in good shape, as it usually is. Greens were rolling good and the rest of the course in good shape. Its a fun layout, with the importance of being in the fairway and being on correct level of the greens where the pin is located. We drive 40 minutes to play here and enjoy every minute of it.

Did not know the course so I played from the gold. Not to brag but I am a pretty good golfer. I thought the fairways would be narrower, because of the woods. Was not to challenging for me fairways were wide. Only a few holes had water in play. Greens were great. I will play it again.

I play there a lot and like it

The course fairways are very forgiving and in good condition for early spring. The greens are in excellent condition. The putts rolled true with consistency on every hole. The bunkers are filled adequately with soft smoothed sand. It was a great golf experience for me and my friends.

Very fair layout with some protection of greens but nothing daunting. Played the blues at just over 6100 yards. Had a less than average day but still fared well.

Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Fairways and greens in great shape. Round took 4 1/2 hours on a Wednesday afternoon. Staff very friendly.

Course very forgiving. Tee area fairways and greens very good shape. Plenty of choice for long or short hitters.

Nice course but green conditions were really bad and fairways had little grass

Nice course to play on our first time in the area. Pro Sop staff were very friendly although not sure why they only allow you to check in 30 minutes prior to your round. We arrived about an hour ahead of time to hit some practice balls and had to return back to the shop to check in for our round. Greens were mainly on the slow side and inconsistent for speed. Would return to play again if in the area.

Friendly course - wide fairways. I played with my wife & she loved it. Would play it again. Great for couples.

Love this course. Generally a thinking golfer's course, with the occasional "grip it and rip it" hole thrown into the mix. Well placed bunkers mean the driver has to sometimes stay in the bag. The greens need careful reading. Great fun. Always look forward to coming back.

Nice Layout, greens weren't in to bad of shape, would definitely play it again

Several greens have been in poor condition for YEARS! The layout is typical Jack Nicklaus, with bunkers in the elbows of dogleg right holes, thereby penalizing the average golfer. Due to this design feature many holes look exactly alike. Boring.

Extremely long from the tips. Unless you're a bomber, don't try it from the blacks. Blue a good test. Ample landing areas. No reason to lose any balls. Not as challenging as a Nicklaus Signature course but still very strong. Conditions were pretty good when you consider we just had 6 inches of rain in two days. You'll enjoy this track.

Course was very nice, not a lot of trouble with wide fairways and a lot of sand. Greens were moderate speed only problem was a grass problem which was being treated for on a lot of the greens. They still putted well and were not bumpy. I will this course again.
