By far best public course around
What says it all- even during long periods of drought, the course is sharp and the golf is good. There’s two courses I can only speak for the Lakes course. I drive 40 minutes north as the prices are great during “season”. Intricate layout and back nine is a proper mix of length and intricate shots. Must play.
Island green on par 5 - #14 from about 150 out. Other photo shows how a lot of holes have elevation changes as you approach green.

Broward County Escape
Day trip to find a new course outside Broward. Clubhouse has lots of quality headwear. Lakes course felt like an executive course at times, keep the driver in the bag on all par 4’s. Big hitters play the tips, quality conditions, small greens- not a but not lot of variety shot value- too many wedges played. 14th overrated- keep drive right, and short. 2nd shot straight forward.

Ive played The Dunes and The Lakes at Sandridge several times and im NEVER disappointed. The course is always in great shape and the staff is awesome. Cant wait to play course again soon !! Mike H.

Too windy!
Beautiful course in excellent condition and very challenging! Just be careful on windy days. Winds were carrying shots completely across the greens and making them difficult to hold.
But I will be back!
