Slow play and difficult
Played lakes. Many fairways cantered and balls fall off left or right often into sand or water. Play is always very slow, 5 hours, no rangers. Greens were great but very fast
Not Friendly
Walked up to the bag drop with my bag. Had at least 4 staff members completely ignore me and a couple of them looked at me multiple times and never said a word. At a minimum you would think a hello, or good morning. Not a thing. They were talking to everyone else that came up. All White Caucasians. Maybe because I was Asian????
Early 9
I was on vacation in FL & had time before heading to the beach for 9 holes. Sandridge had a 9-hole rate if you started on #10 early. The course was crowded because it's a very nice course in great shape for a reasonable price. I enjoyed my round quite a bit. Its name is appropriate because there are lots of lakes. I left my GPS devise attached to the frame of my cart & didn't realize it until I played in Ft Lauderdale a couple days later. I called Sandridge & they had it & sent it to my house back home. So very nice of them!
The lakes should be the dunes.
Great course.. I found the greens to be quite of need to be rolled.
Beaytiful course as always.
Love playing this course. Just think staff is a lil condescending in Pro Shop. Not the friendliest people. Just my opinion……. I was ‘shamed’ bcuz i dont have a ‘ county card’. Whatever.. i just wanna play golf without feeling like i did something wrong. Mike H
Fun
The Lakes Course is not very long, but don’t let that fool you. This course has character and will challenge you. Lots of fun to play
Super
Great condition despite lack of rain recently. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommend
Best Public Course in Area
Definitely worth playing...either course. Well maintained, very good greens, nice fairways and bunkers.
Nice Course with Some Weak Hole
Overall this is a decent course in good condition, especially considering how much play it gets. One weakness is that there are a couple of poor holes, especially on the back nine. For example, the 16th is a par 3 that plays about 85 yards from the white tees, basically a pitch and putt distance. 13 is another, a straight forward, short, uninteresting par 4.
