Nashboro Golf Club

About
Nashboro Golf Club sits just outside of Nashville's city center, and offers good times and good tests.
Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.
After - or before or both - a round of golf at Nashboro Golf Club, grab a round in the clubhouse's full-service bar and grill, which offers a casual vibe.

THE WORST GOLF COURSE IN NASHVILLE
This is the most overpriced golf course in Nashville..This course is barely playable and you could get robbed at several points on the course.. Pro Shop has absolutely nothing in it and don’t expect to hit any range balls they don’t have a range.. Had to build Cheap Apartments to stay afloat on it…Staff is horrible, Several tees under construction, greens are bad and fairways very thin…DO NOT GO HERE TO PLAY..
Player Friendly Course
We had a 8am tee time, trying to beat the heat.
Pro staff gentleman was friendly and got us in the right direction. We arrived early, hoping to warm up, but the course had no driving range, and the chipping and putting areas were closed due to maintenance. That was a little disappointing, so we hang out in the snack bar. The course is in great shape. Greens are large, fast, full, with minimal slope, and rolled true. Fairways are in great shape, a little long, but understandable with this heat. Multiple tee boxes are offered, and the tee's were in great shape. The course is easy to navigate as a first timer. The carts have built in GPS, and it shows you where the other carts are in front of you on the holes where blind spots occur. This is a players course with wide open fairways, the greens are large and will hold shots, and most holes are straight. We had a great time, and would highly recommend this course.
Nice course.
Enjoyed the round conditions were good. Well kept.
Solid Course, Insane Greens
Course was in a good shape, definitely an above average difficulty, but not crazy. Was not expecting the greens to be as difficult from a pin location, elevation level and how standpoint. Not a complaint but just for people to know.
Fun and challenging course
The greens are slow, but they are in great shape and roll true. The general area is well cared for and the fairways are generous. The tee boxes are on the beat up side and were shaggy on the day I played; however, it had rained the previous night and that morning.
I look forward to playing here again.
LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY - Pride Month Aware
Our group (a foursome and a threesome, all with caddies) recently played a round at Nashboro, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The course itself was in excellent condition — fairways lush, greens true, and the layout both challenging and enjoyable.
We want to especially commend the staff for their hospitality. Nearly everyone we encountered was welcoming, courteous, and eager to make us feel comfortable — a refreshing show of genuine service. The club also deserves credit for its visibly inclusive atmosphere. It’s not often you find golf facilities that are not only accommodating but clearly LGBTQ+ friendly, which did not go unnoticed or unappreciated by our group.
Nice
Just really wet the day after a tornado blew through. Cart path only always slows things down. Nice course.
Enjoyed our round
It had rained for 30 hours straight before our round but the course was fine and we moved quickly through the course finishing our round in under four hours.
This Course is RUINED
I've played here 5-6x before and never had a real issue other than a few times of crappy course conditions or a group slowing us down because they were goofing off. However, this time when we played on Sunday was one of the worst experiences of my entire golf "career" due to the extremely poor management decisions being made. They have now spaced all tee times 8 minutes apart for the whole day on Sunday due to not wanting to raise their prices to "the same level as their competitors." But 8 minutes for a 4-sum (2 minutes/person) to complete every hole while having the course stick to Cart Path Only is incredibly dumb. They're marshals are rude, arrogant, and completely out of line with 90% of what they say meanwhile you have weeds growing out of the greens so good luck trying to putt well. I will not be spending anymore time playing at this course and would recommend paying an extra $5-10 on a much nicer run course than this one.
Bad Attitude
Paid just under 300$ to take my sons out for a round on Easter Sunday. After nine holes the man taking the carts came up to me with an attitude telling us we need to pick up the pace and there’s 100 golfers stacked up behind us. I told him we’ve been just behind pace and that was due to a faulty golf cart that kept resetting and having to be put into reverse to go forward. Long story short we finished two holes ahead of the people behind us. Very rude to be treated that way and pay so much. Greens were seeding as well. Not the best conditions I’ve seen the course in.
