Nashboro Golf Club
About
Nashboro Golf Club sits just outside of Nashville's city center, and offers good times and good tests.
Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.
After - or before or both - a round of golf at Nashboro Golf Club, grab a round in the clubhouse's full-service bar and grill, which offers a casual vibe.

This Course is RUINED
I've played here 5-6x before and never had a real issue other than a few times of crappy course conditions or a group slowing us down because they were goofing off. However, this time when we played on Sunday was one of the worst experiences of my entire golf "career" due to the extremely poor management decisions being made. They have now spaced all tee times 8 minutes apart for the whole day on Sunday due to not wanting to raise their prices to "the same level as their competitors." But 8 minutes for a 4-sum (2 minutes/person) to complete every hole while having the course stick to Cart Path Only is incredibly dumb. They're marshals are rude, arrogant, and completely out of line with 90% of what they say meanwhile you have weeds growing out of the greens so good luck trying to putt well. I will not be spending anymore time playing at this course and would recommend paying an extra $5-10 on a much nicer run course than this one.
Bad Attitude
Paid just under 300$ to take my sons out for a round on Easter Sunday. After nine holes the man taking the carts came up to me with an attitude telling us we need to pick up the pace and there’s 100 golfers stacked up behind us. I told him we’ve been just behind pace and that was due to a faulty golf cart that kept resetting and having to be put into reverse to go forward. Long story short we finished two holes ahead of the people behind us. Very rude to be treated that way and pay so much. Greens were seeding as well. Not the best conditions I’ve seen the course in.
Just OK
The course was under repair after the storms I assume. Just wasn’t worth the price with the course in the shape it was in. The staff was great.
Don’t waste your money
The course was one of the worst conditions I ever played.
Hoosier in Tennessee
My GPS got me within 5 minutes of course on time. I spent the next 20 minute driving around looking for the clubhouse. It’s nestled back in the woods behind several housing and apartment/condo communities, what’s confusing is there is no real clear signs pointing “This way to the clubhouse.” Further there are stop signs at streets for cart crossings, but the GPS does not recognize these. So when GPS says “turn left at the next Stop sign” DON’t DO IT if it is a cart crossing!!
Good round. Two dudes I was paired with took off before I got to the 1st tee. The 2 behind me, Ron and Steve were great though, invited me to join them, were very knowledgeable of the course and very helpful and patient with this old Yankee.
I would definitely like to get my son-in-law out to play this course with me. He’s in Brentwood.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Not bad
Not bad but not great. Good course to play a relaxed golf round. Layout can be tough considering some of the tree lines off the tee box. Course is in slightly above average condition. Tee boxes were a little hairy but it rained recently so I imagine it may have been too wet to cut. Bunkers were bad, but it just rained so wet bunkers are never any good anyway. Clubhouse check in was fine, staff were fine, no complaints there. Greens are much slower than most courses in Nashville. Could’ve been rain related also, but the greens are forgiving as you can hit the ball hard and it stops more easily. My one gripe, I wish they would take some trees down to make some of the tee shots a bit easier for amateurs.
Golfing on a Tuesday in Nov
Course wasn’t too busy and got a deal on GolfNow. Regular prices looked a little steeper than I would expect for the course. Greens were in good shape…they were super slow on the front and then noticeably different/quicker on the back but still slow. Fairways were good. Always enjoy playing the course as it is a good layout.
Pretty good value
Reasonable value for the money. Course is usually in good condition with an average pace of play.
Great value and course
Had a great round out here yesterday. Course was in good shape even after all the rain we’ve been having. We will be back again for sure, Carts are in nice shape and have yardage/map displays. Course isn’t as tight as what you’d think by looking on over head view of google maps, but we still managed to hit a few houses with errant drives. Fun time and not so challenging that it’s discouraging, back 9 was tougher on us though. Thanks!
Not a bad value for a Public Course
We were in Nashville for a business trip and found Nashboro on Golf Now...for the price (Hot Deals - $51 for a 10:40 tee time) it was not a bad deal for the course. Overall the course was in fairly decent shape. Other than the Tee Boxes grass needed to be a bit tighter, the fairways, greens were in decent shape.
We followed a group of 16 locals for their regular legue play or something so play was about 4.5 hours, but the food and drink prices were decent and they didn't price gouge.
