TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Greens were very shaggy.

I’ve been playing TPC Tampa for about 20 years when I visit Tampa. The course is a shadow of its former self. Greens are ripped up by spikemarks. Bunkers are way too soft leading to multiple plugged lies in the faces.

One of my favorite places to play in the area is now one that I will skip going forth.

I liked this course, but there weren't too many fancy or unforgettable moments. Just a nice course with nice greens. Price was pretty steep and they didn't pair me with anyone - really? Make me play by myself? In season though, still not many people on the course. I don't know - I'd come back if there was an event or a HUGE discount on next round.

Overpriced!!!

Clubhouse is out dated. Dark lighting. Sluggish vibe.

Starter was great!

The course conditions are very much below par!

The fairways had plenty of bare spots! Also extremely tight!

Around the greens the grass was spotty! Thin.

Greens have seen better days!

Not worth the price they are trying to charge.

Price point is out of control

For the same price of the pre noon tee times, you could go play streamsong. Or, for $120 less, you could play championsgate. Whoever sets the price point for tpc tampa is out of their mind. Has to be one of the lowest quality of all the tpc courses I've seen, yet they charge what streamsong is asking. Do yourself a favor and pay any of the other wonderful options in the tampa area
