TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Never a disappointment

Third time playing this course and it has never been a disappointment. Course was in very good condition. Greens were fast and they rolled true. Best course played so far on our golf trip.Staff was friendly and professional. Special kudos to Donnie and the bartender . We will return .

Thanks for putting me with someone else and

not having me play alone.

Pace was slow, needed a marshall. Called the pro shop but didn’t get any help.

Just a little prodding would have made a great difference. Know it’s not easy to speed people up but the effort would have been appreciated.

Overall, an enjoyable experience on a nice layout and good greens.

Enjoyed TPC Tampa. Fun layout and some interesting holes. We were the 4th group off but stuck behind a slow threesome. Greens recently aerated but still rolled true and decent speed. Great pro shop filled with gear. Course was in great shape with immaculate fairways and tees. I would definitely play again if I am back in this area someday.

Course in excellent condition

It's TPC, you expect it to be good, but it was REALLY in good shape. Greens fast but not ridiculous, the whole course was in better condition than last time we played it. Water in play on most holes but overall generous landing areas on those holes and no crazy forced carries. There were a TON of maintenance people out on the front nine working on tiny details like they were prepping for a tournament... maybe they are. In any event, course was in excellent condition, you'd have no idea we were in a drought. Couple of dicey tee boxes on the par 3's but other than that, really good condition. All staff excelent.
