About
TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Course is kinda rough. Range is bad hitting out of dirt. Grass needs cut. Can tell the course get alot of play but TPC standards not.

Great course and kind staff.
The greens were very fast today, fairways were tight, thick Bermuda and st Augustine rough made missing greens and fairways punishing. Only downsides were the sand in the bunkers was inconsistent and hard also The range balls are very hard and not good quality especially at this type of course, not a good idea to hit woods on the range there.

Overall good condition considering the heat wave going on. Fairly tough course, local knowledge is helpful. Has the feel of a North Carolina course(tree lined fairways), then a Florida course. As you would expect the rough is not forgiving.

Course conditions are great, greens are slick, the only issue is there was no Marshal when I was there and it was almost a 5 hour round in super hot conditions, if they could fix the pace of play this would be a 5 star track
TPC okay
Have wanted to play TPC Tampa Bay for a few years so played in summer heat and humidity for $95. Good deal but wore us out. Usually in the area in February but don't think this course is worth the $279 winter rate. Overall tough course and in pretty good condition but lots of other courses for better cost and value.

Never a disappointment
Third time playing this course and it has never been a disappointment. Course was in very good condition. Greens were fast and they rolled true. Best course played so far on our golf trip.Staff was friendly and professional. Special kudos to Donnie and the bartender . We will return .
Been a while
I haven’t played TPC in many years and was very impressed. From the bag drop to loading the clubs to leave it was a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely play here again soon. Great job TOC staff!!

Really fun course..excellent condition even with the 2” of rain that came down in the morning. Super friendly and helpful staff. Food and drink were top notch. We will absolutely ride down for another round this year. 5 stars!!!
