TPC Tampa Bay

The greens make this course a challenge for first time players. Get to the practice green before your round. Generally wide fairways with generous landing areas and large greens.

Some difficult pin placements on two tiered and sloped greens on some holes.

Would recommend and play this course anytime at the GolfNow hot deal rate.

I paid $40 on Golfnow with a Hot Deal, but I wouldn't pay the regular gold now rate of $77 since there are many nice courses at more reasonable rates. However that being said, this course was in excellent shape. Pace of play was fast since there weren't many golfers. The fairways were lush, the rough wasn't deep and the greens rolled true. My only concern is the number of divots on the greens that aren't replaced. I hope to play here again at a great rate!

Nice course , not particularly long from white tees. Speed of the greens make it a 129 slope . Need to monitor pace of play better.

Layout is good, and condition was ok after heavy rains in past week. Greens rolled very nicely! Too many unrepaired ball marks on greens. Pace of play was great on front 9 , but horrifc on back 9. Would like to play again.

After reading some reviews, I was torn on spending the money on this track. After playing a round on the property, I am no longer concerned. From the moment I drove up, it was an awesome experience from the bag drop to the pro shop and onto the starter. Serious kudos to the staff. The track itself was outstanding. I get when people say there is no “wow” factor, such as some crazy elevation changes or amazing waterfall feature, but the course was superbly manicured with perfect fairways, outstanding greens and lush foliage. What else could you ask for? The multiple tee boxes allow for a solid game for players at all levels. Pace of play was just right as we finished in four hours even with a slow player in our group. The refreshment cart lady was awesome and stopped by many times throughout the round to check on us. Overall - great track. Great staff. Will definitely play again!!

Got a hot deal through Golf Now so the price was good: overall the course was in good shape but not great. I expect this course to be amazing from tee to green especially this time of year and I felt the course condition was just ok. Some greens had spots but decent. Course staff was very friendly and have all the amenities you could want. I would have been disappointed if I had to pay full price (over $100) to play here but got a good deal so was happy.

The course was in great shape, a little wind blown debris. Pace was great as we played in about 3.5 hours, the day was just a cold day in Tampa at 50 degrees. Greens were quick.

First time playing tpc tampa with a couple of friends. Super friendly staff in pro shop and starter. Used their rental set which were a bit battered and old. (Titliest 913 woods). But can’t expect too much with rentals. Played off the blue tees which is fair enough for me but the couple of guys I played with aren’t as long and suffered a bit with length. (Plenty of tee options though). GPS I’m buggies we’re first class. Drinks service was often enough. Perhaps it was my expectation of a TPC to be unbelievably good but it didn’t blow my mind. Played other courses equally as good at cheaper price. Service in clubhouse along with food was perfect couldn’t complain. I will definitely be back. A good decent track but not out of this world.

2:40 minutes to play front nine....no ranger ....left after nine. Ridiculous. Good course...but 5.5 hour rounds is unacceptable.

No drinking water on the course, dead spots on the greens, slow greens, pace of play was horrible. It felt like the only reason this course is still afloat is because of the TPC name. I have played a lot of nice courses and this one does not make the cut. It is sad because the layout is awesome.

Excellent course too to bottom. Staff was very friendly and pace of play was great. Can’t wait to go back!!

It was very cool to see greats of the game on the wall as we were heading to the range. The conditions were very wet as a storm came through the previous evening. They told us that it was cart path only which we understood. We played almost uninterrupted for the entire day. It was extremely hot and humid which took its toll. But that didn't account for the generally average condition of the course. Fairways were OK, but the greens were very slow and not very smooth. When you see TPC, you expect more than average. The people were nice, the starter was terrific, but the experience was just average. I did use a GN Hot Deal tee time, but I have played conditioned courses for less money.
