Patriots Glen Golf Club

Patriots Glen has a lot of work to do, but if and when they get their work done, the course will be definitely one to add to your list. The front 9 fairways are tree lined and narrow which require accurate drives. Many of the teeboxes, fairways and greens on the front 9 need to be reseeded due to patches and burnouts. It was difficult putting on the greens due to the patchiness; so many times you had to move your ball to avoid the issues.

The back 9 holes were in a little better shape with fewer patches on the fairways and greens. The fairways were a little wider, but more challenging because of their length. The 17th hole is one of the hardest I've played this year due to the water running along the fairway and up towards the green.

Patriots Glen can be an excellent course if they put their time and money into improving the health of the fairways and greens. The layout is definitely challenging to all levels, but until they make the improvements, it is not worth the drive.

Some of the tee boxes and greens were dinged up, but the course had been shut down a couple of years ago. The fairways were in good shape and the rough was very playable. I was never in a bunker so I have no reviews on them. The staff was on point and got me out quickly. The weather was extremely hot, but I was able to fly around the course in about 2 hours or so. All in all, I would say that for a course that was shut down for a period of time, this one is making a tremendous come back. I booked through "golf now" and my round was only $15 cart included. I'm not sure you can get a bucket of balls at a local driving range for that. I will definitely be back to this course. Thumbs up to grounds crew and staff!

This course has had some struggles previously, but I was pleasantly surprised. The greens had a few spots where they were beat up, but overall, it was in decent shape. $35 for an early morning Sunday round was a great value. Played at our pace, barely anyone was out there.

Patriots Glen is not a new course, but it is under new management.

They have done a good job of bringing the course back to playing shape after it had gone unattended for over a year.

They still have some work left to make the course more playable, but they are trying !

Greens were in very bad shape and the coarse was under water.

This course was closed a few years ago. They've done a great job with the course in just a few seasons. Some greens weren't in great shape, but overall the course was fun to play.

Luckily I played at a reduced price and still feel like I got cheated. All greens were in poor to bad shape except for 2. The 2 closest to the clubhouse. Save your money and do not play this course.

First time playing this course since it became under new management. I had hoped for better course conditions, but it wasn't to be. Many greens were a mess. This may be a holdover from before it shut down, but we've had good grass growing weather this spring so I expected a little better. It's too bad - the course layout is very good, and with a decent practice area, and most of all, good pricing. I do hope they can put some $$ into this place and bring it back cause I like the course, the clubhouse and the staff seemed nice too. I would recommend heartily if the conditions improved

Several of the greens had sand on them and weeds. Since it is early in the season, I will give them a break. Mostly the pins were in the good part of the greens. Fairways had a lot of holes and patches of grass. By June the course should be better.

The tees were overgrown with weeds, the fairways were mostly barren and the greens were a disaster. There were no water coolers anywhere on the course nor were there any cart girls. The only water on the course was in the bunkers which were mostly flooded. The incredibly creepy ranger followed us around for the first four holes just staring at us from like 50 yards away until I finally had to drive over to him and tell him to go away and that he was ruining our round with his creepiness.

Had a good time playing. Good food after. The conditions were ok for the winter. Course is fun but challenging, and the price was worth it. Would definitely play again.

A great value for the money but it has too many dead leaves for this time year.

Played 9 holes in an hr so pace of play was good. Just to many areas on greens where there is no turf or areas of fairways missing grass. Hard to have a a decent put when there are patches everywhere. I played here once last year in the summer and was the same way wanted to see if they fixed the course any. It's a shame because course could be somewhere I would want to play but I wound play somewhere if you can't get a true roll off the green.

I've played this course several times, and really enjoy being here. The course is a work in progress, and it appears a genuine effort is being made to improve conditions. I love the course layout, one of my favorites. If you play with the understanding conditions will eventually improve, and not to expect too much right now, you will enjoy your round. The amenities are just right, and the clubhouse super friendly. I will be back throughout the season....

Very wet when I played. Hard to tell overall conditions

Extremely wet the day we played. Course is just starting to make a comeback, but is not there yet. Greens need a lot of work. The course layout is great and if they get the course in just good shape; I will return.
