Only two holes lack water on Indian Creek Golf Club's Lakes Course, designed by Dick Phelps three years after the Creek Course opened. No. 9 is the best hole, playing 453 yards with water coming into play off the tee and the approach. A pond protects the left bend of the dogleg and extends to the green. Bogey isn't bad on this difficult par 4.

Nice Staff. Course needs some Love.
The Lakes course was pretty beaten up in the fairways. Great staff. Cart girls were a plus as always. Rate of play was a bit slow.
Not perfect day to review
Other than the greens just being aerated, the course was in good to great shape. It has all the length and trouble you'll want or need. While you can tell the staff in the pro shop is sometimes overwhelmed, they at least try, and the cart girls are some of the best around.
Better Values Elsewhere
Have played this course several times and this last time it was in the most torn up shape I have ever seen it. We played the Lakes course over a month ago and I have heard that the conditions have improved since then, but I am not planning on going back to find out anytime soon. Pace of play was slow due to mid-morning Saturday tee time. My reviews would not be as low if the scale would allow sliding between the 3 positions (maybe a 5 position scale), but I could not move them up a full grade with what we experienced.
Challenging and Enjoyable
Having played both courses at Indian Creek several times I don't have a favorite. Both involve elevation, holes requiring strategy, well-placed bunkers and some degree of challenge as it relates to water, treelines and OB areas. It's a very pleasant course and a great place to have a business golf outing.
Good course for the price
This is a Good course for the price. Good facilities, the course is just not in the best condition
Great Course
It had mid-ranged difficult courses with tuff greens. It was a fun to play at.
