About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Ok Course
Course was good the money compared to other courses in the area. Fairways and greens were in great shape but tee boxes were overgrown and in bad shape. Sand bunkers were low and needed work. Staff was not friendly and clubhouse was outdated. Good course for a fast round of golf.

Nice course ,lots of water
Well kept course. A lot of water but fair. Not many blind shots Good value for the money. Gps i.in carts.

Course is a not as good as it used to be
Course was in descent shape but the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday “short of cooks” and the cart workers were not near as friendly as in past years! I feel that the management needs to take a Long look and reassess as they are supposed to be in the “ Service Business “ trying to make customers feel like they have been to a place that they would definitely want to return to!!!!

Great course even with scattered showers
Great course with a nice layout, even though there was scattered showers during the front 9 the course and greens were good to play. I will definitely be booking again when I’m In the area.

Challenging course
Mid day tee time. Paired with one other golfer. Separate carts. Some fairways very tight. Water and bunkers protecting greens. Challenging. Great course. Green in really great shape. GPS on the carts.

Only bad thing is there needs to be more sand in the sand traps. Everything else was excellent!

Ospreys and Blue Angels
Fun track from the forward tees with only two slightly tricky holes. Osprey nest with momma and babies at the end of the driving range we’re fun to watch as were the Blue Angels practicing overhead in formation.

A gem of a course
Finally got the chance to play the course and was not disappointed. I played as a single and was paired up with a father and his two sons. Everyone from the pro shop attendant to the course marshals were pleasant and helpful.
Odd thing was the restaurant was closed on a holiday weekend at the beginning of the summer season.

Disappointed
Drove from Miami to stay and play with my wife on our way to New Orleans. The course was nice but the accommodations need a lot of help. The cottages need extreme updating. The kitchen was also closed on both Monday and Tuesday while we were there. What a shame!

Would have been a great round but…
The ranger on the first tee was rude, disrespectful, and started our round off in a terrible way. He rides around yelling out tee times… and then says “next”. I asked him what time it was and he replied - your next. I asked him again for the time… as I wanted to grab a water and a snack (we had 12 minutes before our tee time)… and he said next. What a rude, unnecessary thing to get you ticked off to start a nice day,
The course is good, pretty tight, and lots and lots of water. GPS in carts is fine. The range balls were very, very old and not a representation of what you can expect to hit on the course. Greens were in pretty good shape and the bunkers were in really poor shape.
