About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Nice layout needs some water
I don’t think they cut the greens the day I played. That means that the course is in good shape other than super dry out there. It’s playing very fast but the greens were long. I mean they were rolling OK. Overall, it’s a good experience. The course is fun to play. And with the GolfNow app, I was able to get a pretty reduced rate.
Get Away
The course was beautiful and the staff was extremely nice. They paired me up with golfers who were about my age and abilities. It made for a great time I rented the clubs from them and the price was great Didn’t use any other amenities there
I played 2 other courses in the area and it was by far in the best shape
Good course and great value
A little narrow but fair. Very much target golf with lots of water with green side and fairway traps. Greens putt true and are in great shape.
Reunion round for our family
We T ed at 840 and our three finished around 4 hours.
We had a great time sandwiches were good at the turn Some challenging holes but our first time out for 2025 so
the round was spring training
Nice Course for the Money
Very nice course. It is March, so some of the grass was still dormant, but that was not a major issue. Lots of water, so hit it straight! Overall very good for the money, especially comparing it to other courses in the area (for the same money). Great staff - friendly and helpful. They had Marshalls out, so pace of play was appropriate.
Coupled with 3 people that appeared they have never played before. Also, my rangefinder was stolen when I left it in the cart that day. Didn't make for a very pleasant memory.
Fun Course
Always a blast playing here. Played as a single and was paired with a great group. Lots of fun. Wish there was better on course beverage/snack services. Seemed a bit understaffed. Will return.
Excellent course for the money
Course was in great shape considering it was early spring. Despite the brown patches on fairways we played winter rules and there was always decent grass nearby. Greens putted very well.
