About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Good beginner course
Pretty, easy, friendly, well laid out
No see ums are fierce on practice putting greens

Excellent Golf Course
An interesting course to play with good greens and decent well kept course conditions. Staff our friendly and courteous and pace of play was good. Recommended to all levels of golfers.
What a nice course.
I love this course. Staff is very friendly. Course is in excellent shape even considering it is the middle of winter. Each hole offers a challenge and you have to think about the approach to each hole. I am here until mid March and hope to play it often.
Not a PGA course
Had great expectations when I read that the Pensacola Open was played on this course. It wasn't a very interesting course and didn't have any great scenery. Cost too much. Have played nicer courses for less. Was in good shape though considering the winter weather.
Excellent Course
What a great course with varying challenges! Some holes were very straight-forward, while others required strategy to score well. The course was in great winter playing condition and the staff was great; very friendly and helpful!
Course is in great shape but staff is horrible!
I was sent out by myself and decided to skip a few holes since the slow groups wouldn't allow me through. First got harassed by maintenance then the so-called Pro came out to remind me not to rush maintenance, really? It was approaching 9:30 so why is maintenance still getting the front 9 ready? I guess I won't be patronizing this course anytime soon.

The course is in great shape.
The course is in great shape now. It has a few relatively easy holes, a few difficult holes and a few really difficult holes. Depending on which set of tees you wish to use, the course can be moderately difficult of very difficult for the average golfer. The white tees bring a lot more "stuff" into play than the up tees.
Great course for $$
Great course. Only 2nd time playing. Play was somewhat slow altho tolerable. Got there early & while using putting green for 20 min., saw a 5-some playing. Watch out for gators.
This course has it all. Fast greens, fluffy bunkers and challenging water hazards.
Don't be fooled by the peaceful scenery, this course is mentally challenging!

Fun course--some holes were a bit tricky, but overall worth playing
We played behind a large scramble event. Pace of play was AWFUL. Had we known the course was hosting such a large group, we would have booked elsewhere. We played the same course 4 days earlier and pace was 2 hr 40 min for two of us. Much more fun.
Fine course, greens in excellent condition.
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in very nice condition. Greens not lightning fast but fast enough for a great putting challenge.
Carpeted fairways beautiful greens
This is a really nice course and what a value on Golfnow.com. The fairways were in perfect shape and the greens had just the right speed. I hadn't played this course since I was a kid and it is still tournament ready.

Great course - One of the best values going in the Perdido Key area.
Green, Green, nice!
This course features beautifully green everything that is in wonderful condition. Great practice facilities including a 120yd wedge green. Every inch was green lush and rolled wonderfully. Semi challenging with water lurking on almost every hole. The food here is really great and specials on beer don't hurt my feelings. I love this course, it's my favorite in the area and highly recommend!
Wonderful day on a beautiful golf course.
The greens had been sanded recently, which made putting less fun than usual. However the course layout, the fairways and the beautiful day at a greatly discounted rate, made us want to play here again. We will!
