About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Excellent golfing experience
Great experience , great value , great course. From a golf snob
Fun course--some holes were a bit tricky, but overall worth playing
We played behind a large scramble event. Pace of play was AWFUL. Had we known the course was hosting such a large group, we would have booked elsewhere. We played the same course 4 days earlier and pace was 2 hr 40 min for two of us. Much more fun.
Fine course, greens in excellent condition.
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in very nice condition. Greens not lightning fast but fast enough for a great putting challenge.
Carpeted fairways beautiful greens
This is a really nice course and what a value on Golfnow.com. The fairways were in perfect shape and the greens had just the right speed. I hadn't played this course since I was a kid and it is still tournament ready.

Great course - One of the best values going in the Perdido Key area.
Green, Green, nice!
This course features beautifully green everything that is in wonderful condition. Great practice facilities including a 120yd wedge green. Every inch was green lush and rolled wonderfully. Semi challenging with water lurking on almost every hole. The food here is really great and specials on beer don't hurt my feelings. I love this course, it's my favorite in the area and highly recommend!
Wonderful day on a beautiful golf course.
The greens had been sanded recently, which made putting less fun than usual. However the course layout, the fairways and the beautiful day at a greatly discounted rate, made us want to play here again. We will!

This course offers ample challenges for the average golfer.
If you can control your tee shots well and hit the fairways consistently than you should score well on this course. However, if you stray into the rough than you may have trouble even finding your ball. The rough was high enough that you would have to be standing directly over your ball to see it. Then hacking it out was really tough. The greens were really good and fairly fast. There are ample fairway and greenside bunkers that can cost you some strokes if you get in them too often.

Course is very challenging and always in good shape specially the greens maybe the best in town. The staff is very professional down to the guy working the carts. For god sack they played thePensacola Open there. GREAT COURSE!!!

We got a great tee time and rate from Golf now and it was well worth the trip. We would golf it again!
Great layout
You can tell this course once hosted a PGA tour, it has the look and feel of a pro style layout, avoid the water and you can score, I normally shoot in the mid 80s and I shot 86 so it's playable, it was in good condition with a few well marked GUR areas, greens were slow but in great condition. They have it priced perfectly at $39,

great track. there is a reason the pga tour was held here for so long, all the best have played here. jack, arnie, player, couples, etc.

Course was laid.out very nicely with difficulty and course management required. Staff was great and friendly
Over all this is a really good course
Fairways were in great shape. Greens were in good shape but on the slow side. A good mix of challenging holes and some easier holes. Water came into play more than expected.
